Our cozy and luminous apartment is located in the heart of the most elegant and vibrant areas of Rome. close to one of the oldest and most beautiful squares of the city: Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, the beating heart of Trastevere neighbourhood, one of the last districts that have tenaciously maintained an authentic Roman character!



The apartment is ideal for two people. It has been beautifully restored and furnished with taste and attention for the comfort. It consists of an mezzanine area with a double bed and private small terrace, a living room area , a well-equipped small kitchen a large bathroom with shower and another small terrace on the ground floor.



If you want to stay in a smart and beautiful location in the heart of the city, our apartment represents the ideal solution.



Crossing the river Tiber you will reach the city Old Center and all the main touristic attractions in a few minutes walk. Ideal for those who want to explore the city by bike or just walking, the area is also well connected with public transport. The trams 8 and 3 are located on Viale Trastevere, a few hundred meters away from us. With the tram 8 you can reach Piazza Venezia while with Line 3 you can arrive until Villa Borghese and Valle Giulia, through San Lorenzo, known as one of the youngest and most eclectic areas of the city.

Lovely location and clean and in working order, however there was the constant smell of cigarette smoke that seeped through the balcony door and windows from the neighbours and the bathroom was abysmal, the shower unit atrocious.

We were happy to stay here.

I wanted a place where we could sit outside & drink our coffee & eat our breakfast in the mornings/drink wine & play Scrabble at night. And that's what we did. An added bonus is that we were very close to the Orto Botanico.

Bill's 60th Birthday a Vacation

The location was perfect. We walked everywhere at all different times of day and always felt safe. The apartment was a bit smaller than expected but very comfortable. Everything worked with no surprises. Marta was excellent and extremely responsive. We had a delightful 9 days!!!

Charming Trastevere

We have stayed in Trastevere before so we picked a property in a familiar area. We were unfortunately meeting the host who was very accommodating. The property is very handy to all that the area has to offer although we received no recommendations. Property looks per the pictures but smaller. The stairs are not for the weak of heart. The internet works well. The shower needs to be repaired as water sprays all over the floor. The gas in the stove needs more pressure. Would recommend a list of instructions for the VRBO that we are used to seeing. Overall we put up with the inconveniences. The host was very good about arranging a taxi to airport for us on departure

Excellent location

Excellent location in Trastevere - near to, but not right next to, the action in this very busy neighbourhood; we did not hear any noise from the busier areas while in the unit. The photos make the space look larger than it is, in our view, but it was still usable. The staircase could be challenging for someone with mobility concerns but was not a problem for us. For light sleepers, the walls are thin: the unit next to ours was empty during our stay but is being renovated, and we could hear both sides of a telephone call that someone made in that unit. Check-in was smooth and easy and the property manager was very friendly and reachable.

Trastavere Flat

I found that not only at this property but at most all of the 12 properties we stayed in Sicily, Rome, and Malta, that the photos of the units make the rooms look much more spacious than they really are. We had a good visit and were able to let the helpful manager know of items that needed attention after we checked out. In general we found on our two month trip that the managers all tend to depend on the guests to make them aware of issues instead of having their housecleaner or an inspector go in between guests to see about any maintenance issues. So the burden becomes the Guests to contact the manager during their vacation time to coordinate having someone come during your stay to take care of the issues which is an inconvenience, unless you dont mind someone coming into the unit with all your belongings/valuables while you are out during the day on your vacation. We elected not to have anything done during our stay in order to protect our valuables and belongings as we did not want to have to wait around for a maintenance person to come during the day. They were mostly minor issues anyway, but needed attention just the same, like the freezer needing defrosting, doors dragging on the floor surface, outside plants dying from no watering, weeds needing to be removed from view in the balcony area, couch leg no longer stays screwed in, loose toilet seat, that sort of minor issues. Overall this property was fine for us and the manager was very helpful and responsive.

Excellent location, clean but small

Its a perfect location in Travestere, within walking distance of all the main cultural sites in Rome. The apt is clean but a little bit on the small suze. For the price, it was wx ellent.
