Tucked away in a peaceful woodland glade, Beaver Creek Lodge is a traditional log cabin brimming with Highland charm. Your adventure begins the moment you cross the private wooden bridge to reach this tranquil hideaway.

The lodge's most magical feature is its stream-side pergola, built directly above a mountain brook flowing down from Craigellachie Nature Reserve. Here you can dine al fresco or simply relax to the sound of running water — an unforgettable backdrop in every season.

After a day exploring Aviemore by foot, car or bike and the Cairngorms, unwind in the eight-person hot tub, sheltered beneath the eaves of the lodge, or step inside to the warmth of the crackling log stove. The open-plan living space is designed for togetherness.

For ultimate relaxation, the lodge features a luxurious bathroom suite with a Jacuzzi bath and large sauna — the perfect way to soothe tired legs after a hike, ski, or cycle.

Entertainment is taken care of with Sky TV and Sky Cinema in the lounge, plus Freeview in every bedroom. Games book and DVD's are also provided.

Perfect place

Our fourth year spending the build up to Christmas at beaver creek - it feels like a second home to us now. We love that it doesn't change much, its so comforting to us, especially given that all 3 of us have autism! It just feels so cosy and everything in it feels like it's been collected and added over the years. It's the most stunning lodge and not pretentious at all, it's homely and sweet. It's always spotless and the welcome gift is so lovely, the marshmallows in it this time were amazing. It's so much better now it has a smart TV in the living room too. The hot tub is gorgeous and we loved the outdoor Xmas tree and that the indoor one is always a real tree. The bath is really comfy and the shower is a perfect pressure, it's not too much, my autistic daughter is even happy in it and she refuses to shower most places we go. It's our happy place, she cries whenever we leave. We light the fire every morning and watch Xmas films together, and the funicular was running at the ski resort this year so we were able to go up to ptarmigan restaurant for hot chocolate and see the snow, the reindeer were by the ski resort too so we got to see them for the third year in a row. The reindeer centre has been upgraded so we loved that, and spey valley is perfect for shopping for xmas decorations. Aviemore is just perfect. The only thing I'd say needs upgrading in the lodge is the master bed as it's a bit hard, everything else is 10/10

Great pre-Christmas Break

This is the third time over few years I have chosen Beavercreek to stay at in December. The location is beautiful and near enough Aviemore to be able to walk if you want to, about 1mile approximately. My only issue is that there was no christmas tree up, we stayed 5th December for 3 nights, this was the case the last time too. That was disappointing as nowadays trees seem to be put up much earlier, from 1st December and this should be considered by the owners moving forward to add to making the stay more festive for all. The lights and heaters at the hot tub also seem very bright and the switch is behind the cover which isn't so practical. I would suggest Fairy lights or festoon lights on verandah which would be pretty and not so bright. The lodge itself is great and would definitely recommend

Fantastic

We loved everything! The wee bridge crossing the river was an amazing welcome. The hot tub was fantastic, very relaxing and well maintained. Outside chairs with the heat lamps are great to sit outside in the fresh crisp air. The location is great to walk into the shops/pubs but yet secluded enough that you never seen/heard anyone. Added bonus the we got snow falling on the last morning which was beautiful. We are already looking to rebook this lodge again for next year.

A wonderful week in Aviemore

We loved our time at Beaver Creek Lodge and all had an amazing time. We loved the authentic wood lodge and all its interiors. The sauna and hot tub were great and very relaxing. My only criticism would be the size of the tv’s. We love to sit down together as a family and watch movies and the main tv was really quite small. I think for the size of room and the size of the whole lodge I would expect larger, more modern tv’s. I’m sure this is something that could be easily remedied and so would definitely book again!

Fantastic stay

We recently stayed here as a group of 8 to celebrate a friends 40th birthday. We cannot fault anything at all. The lodge was in a fantastic location. We were able to take a short walk into Aviemore which was great. The hot tub was lush! As we are all Mums it was great to relax and unwind. The Lodge had everything that we needed and more. Would highly recommend.

One of a kind

Absolute legendary place for city escape, especially if you’re from aberdeenshire where there’s not many trees and lots of monotonous granite. Behind the house is a big forest, a great walk. There’s not many places I want to revisit simply because there’s other options to explore, but this one i do. Thanks

Excellent stay

Just back from Beaver Creek, it is beautiful, the first thing you see is the bridge you cross to the lodge, magical, the decor and space is amazing, it is spotless and has everything you could possibly need, the sauna and hot tub was used well , great walks around the lodge and you feel you are in the middle of the forest…….also got a lovely welcome pack when we arrived, there is plenty of information on the lodge and the surrounding area……we had a fabulous time at beaver creek and would definitely return

Another wonderful stay at Beavercreek

Another wonderful stay at Beavercreek. Have been coming here for many years and we were delighted to see that,although it has changed ownership recently, it still feels exactly the same. We had beautiful weather which made our local walks (Loch Morlich and Loch en Eilean are particular favourites) even more spectacularly beautiful! The hot tub is lovely to come home to at the end of the day. We will see you again soon!

Family break

We found the Lodge an attractive property just perfect for our family. It's position, situated in woodland next to a fast stream was very atmospheric and the ski lodge interior added to the aura. The Lodge was well equipped with quality fittings which was pleasing and there was a good arrangement of seating and plenty of space for outdoor living. Everybody loved the outdoor hot-tub too. We felt that the arrangements for arrival was a little on the late side (4pm) and required departure a bit early (10am). Aside from that we were very happy.

Magical lodge in perfect surroundings

Beaver Creek lodge is an incredible and perfect holiday home. We loved waking up to the sound of the stream and long walks in the forest. From the minute we arrived it felt like we were in a fairytale walking over the briidge to get in. The location is perfect, close to town for shopping and on the Aviemore Orbital walk. We will be back! Thank you for such a wonderful holiday.

Amazing escape up north

We used the lodge as a base for a weekend of cycling. The condition was excellent and the kitchen was fully stocked with pans (and helpfully, also with condiments). There was ample space and the addition of the hot tub and the sauna really helped when relaxing after a long day's exercise. The highlight was eating breakfast and dinner out over the creek. A really special memory to have.

Never disappoints!

We have been to Beavercreek many times and it never disappoints! We love the location, private, tucked away among the trees but still close enough to Aviemore (walkable distance) to avail of the amenities. There is a lovely woodland walk right on the doorstep and many stunningly picturesque walks around Aviemore. We love coming back to the lodge after a day spent out and about walking and enjoying the hot tub and peaceful surroundings. We will definitely be back again!

Fabulous weekend

Well, what can I say. I booked this for my husbands 50th Birthday and we were not disappointed. The pictures don't do it justice. The Lodge is far bigger than it looks in the pictures. It had everything that you could possibly need and more. 8 of us stayed in it very comfortably and we made good use of the hot tub and board games. The beds are very comfortable and the accommodation is very clean. The only thing that we felt that would have been nice to have was sun loungers, as we were fortunate enough to have amazing weather. It was soooo relaxing to wake up to the noise of the nearby burn and the birds singing. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to return again.

Comfortable

Everything about the lodge was comfortable, from beds to ease of access. Hot tub a great favourite. Sauna and jacuzzi good. Heating set perfectly, never needed to change any settings. Plenty of walks on your doorstep and nearby.

A great holiday with friends in a wonderful location

Our whole group had been looking forward to staying in Beaver Creek Lodge for a while and we definitely were not disappointed. It had all mod cons and more. A great location for exploring the Cairngorms and a fantastic lodge to relax in on an evening.

Best GNL lodge we’ve stayed in!

This has to be 1 of the best GNL lodges we’ve stayed in. As soon as you walk in you feel at home. The kitchen is well stocked, although some more plastic or wooden utensils would be helpful to stop the pans being scratched (we bought a plastic fish slice and left it there). The beds are comfy with a bonus of wash basins and tv’s in the other rooms. Not sure when it was updated but the family bathroom and en-suite are great with ample hot water. The outside area was used a lot with the bbq and heated outdoor seating area. Great walks right from the step over the fence. Enclosed garden but I wouldn’t just let your dogs out unattended as my medium size dog worked out how to jump the fence. A plus is that Tescos delivers so no having to go out again if you arrive late. In all we will definitely return.
