Armação de Pêra is a charming and welcoming destination, known for its outstanding beaches. Near the old town you’ll find the Fishermen’s Beach, where it’s common to see fishermen repairing their nets by their traditional boats. Some are still used for fishing, while others take visitors on boat trips to the stunning caves of Armação de Pêra and Benagil.

The wide Armação de Pêra Beach offers multiple access points, cafés and restaurants along the seafront. It is divided into well-known areas such as Fortaleza Beach, in front of the historic fortress, and Mini Golf Beach, which for decades was home to a mini golf course – today replaced by a beautiful garden with benches and breathtaking views.

During the bathing season, the beach is supervised by lifeguards and is also classified as an Accessible Beach.
