Stay in the heart of historic Lisbon in this beautifully renovated designer studio, located on Castle Hill in the peaceful and picturesque square of Largo da Achada. Set within a fully restored 100-year-old building, completed in July 2021, the space offers a perfect blend of old-world charm and contemporary comfort—ideal for solo travelers or couples looking for a stylish and serene city base.

The studio is filled with natural light from large windows that open to rooftop views of Alfama and glimpses of the Tagus River. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable double bed with a high-quality mattress, plush pillows, and crisp linens. The open-plan layout includes a spacious dining and living area, featuring a large table and modern chairs that work equally well for shared meals or remote work. Tasteful, curated décor and light-toned furnishings create a calm, inviting atmosphere.

A compact yet well-equipped kitchenette includes a Nespresso machine with pods, a mini fridge, stovetop, microwave, electric kettle, and a dishwasher, along with all the basic cookware and utensils you’ll need for light cooking. The private bathroom, while small, is functional and features a walk-in shower, a compact sink, and modern fixtures. Please note that the drainage area is limited, but ventilation is in place for added comfort.

Our studios are located in the most ancient quarter of the city: the famous Alfama! Specifically, in Largo da Achada, a tiny cobble-stoned square with a small drinking fountain in the Castle`s Hill. The building facing the studio is one of Lisbon’s oldest houses built in the 1500s!

In this picturesque neighborhood composed of a maze of narrow streets, winding alleyways, and steep flights of steps you`ll find most Fado houses, tiny squares, churches, and amazing lookout points. The 11th century Moorish Castle and Miradouro da Graça terrace are the best!

» Guests are required to fill a form with ID/Passport information before check-in.
» Late Night Check-In: for arrivals between 21:00 (9 PM) and 9:00 (9 AM) a late check-in fee of €25 will apply. This amount must be paid in cash at the time of check-in.
» If guests lock themselves out of the property or do not return the keys to the lockbox at checkout, a 50 euros fee will apply. If a guest loses a set of keys during their stay, an 80 euros fee will apply. In case our team is unable to unlock the door and there is the need for specialized assistance, additional fees will apply.
» The building is acessible only by stairs, as there is no elevator available.
» A €100 security deposit is required to book this property. The deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property, within 7 days of check-out.
