Located in Sarasota's first and oldest neighborhood, quaint Laurel Park is walking distance to everything downtown.and very short drive or bike ride to beaches

It wis very quiet and private. The backyard is large, completely enclosed with a beautiful 6' wooden fence. Lush and tropical with backyard furniture, patio table for eating, remote working, or reading. Grills, beach chairs, enclosed washer and dryer... It's a beautiful slice of old Florida for the sole use of the two apartments and your guests. You won't want to leave.

Great weekend

Incredibly Cute & Convenient

We checked in on the later side and Christie was very accommodating. We loved the unit, the backyard and the location was perfect for a conference we were attending. What a great escape in the heart of downtown Sarasota with wonderful decor and exceptional host communications!

Sarasota Getaway

Wanted to see the sights and sounds of downtown Sarasota and this place provided the perfect location and comfortable feel. Christina was very attentive and welcoming. We were just a few blocks from downtown so it was very easy walking to restaurants and shops. Had a very nice stay and would definitely stay again!

Wonderful location. Peaceful upstairs location with all the amenities as promised.Outstanding central air-conditioning. Well maintained and nicely decorated.Met Christie briefly she is an outstandingHost. Due to the heatwave we were unable to take advantange of the wonderful well appointed private tropical garden area.Thanks Christie for making our stay very special. See you the next time through!

My host was exceptional! I travel frequently and have stayed in many hosted homes/apartments, but I have never had someone go above and beyond like this time! She even had extra food and snacks for me when my flight was delayed and did not arrive until after midnight. She checked on me regularly and was very patient! Apartment was extremely cute and has all the amenities you could need. 100% recommend!

Working Weekend

Needed a place next to Downtown to go back and forth to Longboard Key. Safe and easy walking to many restaurants. Beautiful location and a great little place !

Walkable Sarasota

Rental was not ready by 4p, had to sit outside for over half hour while being cleaned with our dog. It was clean with appropriate amenities when we were able to get in. Unit is second floor small space but well appointed/efficient. Outdoor space is lovely as described. Very walkable to great restaurants in town. Quiet, peaceful surroundings. Bed was comfortable. Great location to Sarasota and local beaches. Appreciated the beach chairs and washer/dryer. Enjoyed our time in Sarasota. Cute place to stay.

Lovely place, very sunny. good bed, kitchen with everything we needed. Walkable to downtown-about 10 fast minutes. Shampoo/TP/paper towels etc supplied.

Fantastic Area!

This place is located in Towles Court, a cool little artist colony. We had an awesome stay here, the apartment fit all of our needs. Loved the wall to wall windows. Highly recommend!

Another lovely stay!

2nd stay at Christie’s bright and clean upstairs apartment! This is such a convenient location to walk and explore all of Sarasotas downtown restaurants. The new Bayrunner shuttle makes getting to Lido Beach for an early morning walk so easy too. Fun trip!

Just book this one! You've found best place!

What an awesome, cute, wonderful place! It's on the second floor with windows all around, so it's like being in one of those ranger stations! The property (as well as the ones surrounding) is beautiful, and relaxing. It's within walking distance to so many great restaurants, galleries, etc. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone who wants a great place to stay while in Sarasota!

Charming, clean, and quiet

Great single bedroom apartment with beautiful, quiet backyard. Host was very friendly, professional, and helpful with local knowledge. Apartment was very clean. Furniture, linens, and appliances were great. We will be back. Great location too.

Great property and location. Very responsive host.

A really nice unit. The kitchen was a little dated but functional. The bathroom was recently renovated. The host, Christie, was very easy to deal with and responsive. We will stay here again next time we’re in Sarasota!

Clean, well-lighted place

Our apartment has wonderful light, which comes in from three sides, yet the sense of privacy is excellent. The bed is comfortable, and the neighborhood is charming. Christie, our host, could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We had a great time.

Beautiful, comfortable living with the birds in the trees

Nice property

Overall nice place and good location. My timing was not good for my stay because at 700AM-730AM there was a neighbor who had construction going on and there were power saws and other equipment being operated--so no extra sleep. It is about a 10 plus minute walk to the center of where many of the downtown restaurants are located. The place was clean but if you have allergies it will bother you and it did me. My guess is that this is a dog friendly place, which can be good or bad depending on your perspective. The place was well stocked with the needed provisions. Very friendly and nice owner and she corresponded quickly. This was my first experience staying at a VRBO unit and I wasn't disappointed. If I could have given this a rating of 4.5 stars, this would have been my exact evaluation.

Great host and neighborhood

We booked last minute for a lacrosse tournament in the area. Christie was very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. We arrived very late at night and she was kind enough to have some snacks for my daughter upon arrival. The neighborhood was very cool and many places to eat within a short distance. Good experience all around.

Short but sweet stat

My stay was cut short by concerns about the weather, but my brief visit was lovely and restful. Christie was an excellent host who communicated well both before and during my stay. Directions were clear, and the property is clean and in a very nice neighborhood. I went for a walk in the morning and really liked the shaded sidewalks (especially in the August heat and humidity), and the other people I met up with were friendly. I would definitely stay here on future visits to Sarasota.

Great place for a long weekend

Property host was wonderful. She met us at the door shortly after we arrived and provided good information on things do to. The apartment was as expected; clean, cozy and comfortable.
