Pearl Cottage is a lovely Cotswold Stone cottage in the friendly village of Blockley. It was built in 1837, and is at the end of a short terrace of four houses called Albert Cottages, all with unique, semi-circular topped windows. It was renovated from top to toe in 2016, with no expense spared in making it not only comfortable and functional but really luxurious. So if you like tradition with a touch of modern designer flair, you'll love Pearl Cottage for your holiday home.
A welcoming wood burning stove enhances the cottage's warm, cosy feel, and the character is complemented by modern facilities, including complimentary wi-fi throughout, a SMART HD TV and a modern, fully fitted kitchen with an electric range cooker, fitted appliances, solid oak flooring and French doors opening onto the sunny private garden with decking, lawn and patio with BBQ. Free on street parking is readily available.
Pearl Cottage is self catering however we will supply a welcome pack of teabags, coffee pods, sugar, biscuits, a half pint of semi - skimmed milk, and in the winter months, kindling, firelighters and logs. The village shop is just a 5 minute walk away where you can stock up for your stay.
Egyptian Cotton white bed linen and large towels are all included.
Please note: Like many old Victorian cottages, this house has 1 bathroom (with gorgeous shower and bath) but not a 2nd loo or bathroom. So it is not practical or suitable for more than 5 guests.
