Maui Stay

The property was ideally located adjacent to the Kapalua properties. The beaches and nearby walking trails were excellent. Restaurants were nearby and cooking at the property was easy to do.

Family Vacation in Mayi

The property was beautiful and was exactly as advertised. Our host Carol was terrific and always timely with her communication. We used the lanai nightly to enjoy the ocean views. The outdoor bbq grill area was so convenient and was a nice place to meet other guests.

Amazing Views and Location

The ocean views at this property can’t be beat. The grounds were beautiful and sights from the lanai were amazing. The condo had plenty of room for our family of six. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed here for 10 days and everything was great. It was clean and had everything we needed and more. It was quiet, the beds were comfy, and the lanais were wonderful to have in the morning. The view is spectacular!

Really lovely stay

We had a fantastic time. The view is amazing and the place is very well appointed (they have a fully stocked kitchen and more). We were pleased with the property as a whole and the parking was super easy too! We can't wait to hopefully come back and stay at this paradise again soon. 10/10 in our book.

Great property

This condo was a perfect setup for a family of 5. It was super clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and we used the outdoor grills multiple times. There were beach chairs, toys and snorkel gear that we were not expecting. The pool was warm and very clean. The only downfall was that the tide was high and we weren’t able to use the beach at all. The location is great and an easy drive to other beaches in the area. Will definitely rent here again.

Nice stay on Maui

View from the deck was amazing, we watched whales every day. Kitchen was well stocked, had everything you could want. Appreciated the convenience of a washer and dryer. Our second time staying here and would do it again.

Comfortable and great view

The place was in a great location. It was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed. Very nicely stocked with beach supplies, spices, extra sunscreen, etc. we’ll be back!

Beautiful location!

Picturesque location and views.. . Loved the private beach and pool. Property was as described and was fully stocked with everything we needed. Property manager was responsive and graciously arranged a late checkout so we could enjoy an extra couple hours. Overall a perfect spot for our family’s first visit to Hawaii!

Perfect Maui headquarters!

We absolutely loved our week at 'A Honu World' Condo. We saw turtles everyday when we snorkeled right at the condo's beach. The condo was clean and fit our family of 4 perfectly. The grounds were very well maintained (grills and pool cleaned every morning).

Great location in Kahana!

We had a wonderful time at this condo, what a great place to enjoy Maui. We even had a honu visit for an afternoon snooze on the beach! It was clean, beds comfortable and kitchen fully stocked for all cooking needs. We enjoyed our meals out on the lanai, and a stroll across the lawn to watch the sunsets on the private beach. Nice to have parking right at the unit as well. We look forward to returning!

We are Southern Californians who were introduced to Kahana Sunset by another family.. Nick and I began coming here 30 years ago with our young family. Kahana Sunset/West Maui has become our home away from home. Our daughter graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Chemistry and is now finishing a PhD in Polymer Engineering, our son graduated from Cal Poly with a degree in biology and is working in the financial services industry now.. They grew up at Kahana Sunset catching lizards and geckos, swimming, snorkeling, skim and paddle boarding. They spent, and continue to spend, their days from the morning until well into the evening active, and making friends that they have stayed in contact with for many years. We have never worried about the kids in this beautiful and healthy environment.

Nick and I spend our days in or around the water of Keoni Nui bay. We usually end our day watching the whales, amazing sunsets, and numerous stars.

Kahana Sunset was a choice we made after spending time at resorts on other parts of the island and always finding ourselves comparing where we were with Kahana Sunset. Kahana Sunset always came out on top.

Nick is a golfer and scored a hole-in-one during a tournament at Kapalua, Bay Course. One of the gifts was a couple of free nights at the Ritz Carlton. On our next trip, we planned on spending the first nights at the Ritz and then the next two weeks at Kahana Sunset. Within a couple of hours of checking into the hotel, our son asked how much longer did we have to stay there, and could we just go to Kahana Sunset. I think that sums up how the entire family feels.

Kahana Sunset is a beautiful and quiet place where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings, your family and friends.

I spent a number of weeks on island (a real struggle) making D-4 our home. With NEW A/C, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, smart tv, and new linens, we think you will want to spend more time here too. The views of paradise from your balcony include the Pacific, pool and garden. You will find that the spirit of aloha is alive and well at Kahana Sunset. We are excited to have the opportunity to share it with you. We look forward to embracing you as part of our Kahana Sunset ohana.
