Welcome to Baywatch - Beautiful, light and airy coastal cottage in a quiet part of The Bay Holiday Village - ideal for family holidays - with stunning balcony and views of Filey Bay and onto The Brigg.

Baywatch has been a private holiday home and is now ready to welcome its first guests in August 2023!

Enter into a luxurious spacious hallway, with space for your coats and shoes. Ahead is a large kitchen / lounge diner with all the appliances you'll expect for a self-catering break including a large fridge / freezer with bifold doors offering access to the patio and view!

There is also an excellent dining space off the kitchen, with extended oak dining table seating 6 with bifold doors to the patio,

Across the diner, there is a comfortable lounge with luxury sofas, seating and large SKY TV (with sports included - subject to availability and provided free of charge not as part of a rental). There is a lovely log burner available in the lounge area and this is available to use November to March - this is not available in April to October due to the excessive heat generated and the bi-fold doors. (guests wanting to use this must supply own logs)

Free unlimited fast fibre wifi throughout. There is also a downstairs wc under the stairs.

Upstairs there's a large galleried landing, with 2 stunning bedrooms sharing a balcony (with seaview) each with their own en-suite shower room and bifold doors - an amazing view to wake to. There is also a large twin room with its own en-suite shower room.

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Pre Christmas break

Great stay at The Bay once again. We found that maybe the mattress in one of the king size beds could be replaced because we found we were falling into the middle of the bed.

Absolutely fabulous !!

We absolutely loved everything about Anchor Bay. The house was perfect, immaculate throughout with everything you could need or want during your stay. Comfortable sofa's and beds, warm and cosy a real home from home. The location was wonderful, just 6 minutes walk to the gorgeous beach from the house, veiw's were perfect. The pub on site was great to pop into while out walking our dog it had a great atmosphere. The pool, suna and steam room was a real added bonus. Cannot fault the stay at Anchor Bay Village and can't wait to return. Thank you.

Great views. Comfortable accommodation

Had a great time here. Great sea views. Close beach access, there was a small trolley provided to take all your stuff to the beach if required. Close to the pub and shop. Comfortable and spacious accommodation. It was nice having the shared grass area (not enclosed) and patio. It made it very easy to exercise our puppy. Recommended.

Excellent accommodation and location

This was our seventh stay at The Bay, Filey and we always enjoy it. The location is perfect for us with easy access to a beautiful beach. The accommodation has always been good but Baywatch whilst being more expensive was quite special with a patio and balcony overlooking the sea. We will certainly be back.

Great place for a large family holiday

Had a lovely stay at Baywatch, the place is in a wonderful location with sea views and good access to all the bay facilities. very spacious property with all you need for a relaxing stay, well kitted out kitchen and some nice touches like games for the kids and beech stuff. Would definitely recommend.

Baywatch

Excellent location close to the beach which was perfect for the dogs, plenty of space in the house well equipped . Each bedroom has its own bathroom so no waiting for anyone else, lovely outside seating area, which we used due to lovely weather, would definitely recommend and will return.

View by the ses

We’ve stayed at the the bay many times and this was the best stay out of them all. The house was very spacious, the decor tastefully done, comfy beds all with en-suites. Lovely views overlooking the sea from the two balconies upstairs in the bedrooms. Plenty of utensils although the only negative remark I have is the frying pan could do with a non stick frying pan. Overall very enjoyable stay.

First time at Baywatch

We had a fabulous time at Baywatch, on what was our first visit there. We'll definitely be back. The house is beautiful, well-appointed, and in a great location. It represented excellent value for money for our three night stay.

Spacious house, excellent location

Spacious house, excellent location close to beach and pool. Well appointed kitchen with generous provision of utensils etc. Beautiful bedrooms with sea views and immaculate balcony furniture. Children loved the easy access to grassed area to play. We had a wonderful stay!

Stunning Stunning Stunning!

We have stayed at The Bay for many years and we love it here. This was the first time staying at Baywatch and my goodness, what a place! It is stunning! The spacious layout provided our extended family plenty of room to feel more than comfortable. The location is excellent with spectacular views of the sea and cliffs. The outdoor space allowed us to dine together and the children to play in the vast open grassed space. We were blown away with how much space we had in the bedroom and with the added luxury of the balcony, evenings with a glass of wine and stargazing really topped off a beautiful day whilst discussing the wonderful memories we’d made that day. I’d recommend staying here to anyone who loves holidays by the sea. A short stroll to the beach path made morning dog walks an added bonus to the fantastic location of this property. We’ve always booked for October half term and cannot wait!

Cosy, extremely comfy and clean. Quiet with fab views

Perfect for a family, all bedrooms are roomy with en-suites. Beds super comfy. View from 2 bedrooms lovely. Showers etc are excellent. Well equipped kitchen, great size family dining area and seating area. Beach nearby. Very quiet and peaceful. Well heated which is easy to control and plenty of hot water. Pleasing, cheerful decor.

Wow!!!

What a fantastic holiday home. Views to die for. Comfy beds. Contains everything you need and more. Really has the wow factor. We were a party of 5 adults, a baby and 2 dogs. Pub on site very good with tasty food. We also walked to weatherspoons on primrose valley a couple of times. There is a good supermarket on primrose valley too. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful home , location . The house was very warm and welcoming which was needed as the weather outside was freezing. The house had some great decorations throughout and the Christmas tree made it just perfect. The only criticism which is personal choice is there was no Bath and only rainfall showers. Views were amazing from the two bedrooms at the back of the property . Thank you

overall nice location,

disappointing within the property, the oven was verry poor, and Pans for the oven were very dirty, we had to wash them all before we could use them. the worst thing was the amount of Dog Hairs everywhere in every room, my wife and daughter have pet hair allergy and could not stop sneezing all weekend and made it uncomfortable for them, and as you walked around and sat down you got covered in Dog Hair..

Thank you for the review of the Baywatch. We have reached out to you about the review and a couple of issues...... The property is advertised across all of our channels as PET FRIENDLY and this is repeated in ALL of the literature. We are concerned two of you had the pet allergy and yet booked a Pet friendly property. We state very clearly in all properties (including pet free ones) that we cannot guarantee an allergy free stay. We would suggest that for future stays you book a PET FREE property if you have a pet allergy. We also ask you to report all issues to us at the time - we would have sorted the oven and pans out within an hour of a phone call and all of our contact details are prominent in the property.

Stunning property in a beautiful location

Wow! What an amazing property! The owners have immaculate taste in decor and have thought of everything that a guest could need whilst staying here. Downstairs has a large open plan living, kitchen diner, plenty of space for everyone to sit and relax and eat . The kitchen is well equipped with utensils, plenty of mugs, glasses, pots and pans etc . Was especially grateful for the washing machine and dryer! The heating is easy to control. The property has a georgeous staircase leading to beautiful big bedrooms each with its own ensuite! What a difference this made to our stay not having to share a bathroom in the morning! The beds are large and very comfortable, plenty of storage too! The balcony from the 2 largest bedrooms is amazing and the view is just stunning! So relaxing The brick built BBQ is excellent too! Also Loved that we could sign into Netflix (especially useful for the kids on rainy evenings!) The small touches make this place truly special , having plenty of coat hooks, excellent wifi, a welcome pack of tea bags etc dishwasher tablets to start us off, a hairdryer… My small recommendations would be an outside tap to rinse off sand from the beach/ hose the dog, clean muddy wellies etc (but we managed by bringing mop buckets of water outside) and blackout curtains in the bedrooms would have been very welcome (when you have a baby who wakes up at the crack of dawn!!) The location is perfect, a short walk down to the lovely beach and some good facilities on the site itself (however felt a cafe would have been nice and the shop was expensive) the pool is just OK, could be better, couldn’t use the kids play area as it was like a swamp with all the rain (a none grassy play area would have been ideal) the arcade is not so great (lots of the games not working) the kids activities on site we thought were overpriced so didn’t try them and we preferred to be out and about. The pub is extortionate so had a drink in there on the first night only (£14 for 2 pints!!) Would definitely recommend a Tesco delivery on arrival! Flamingo land is fairly close by and is ok for a day out, also visited Filey Town and Scarborough for the funfair and fish and chips which was lovely Thank you to Anthony who was available to contact throughout, couldn’t have asked for a higher standard of service or accommodation, We loved our stay in The Bay Filey and would love to return again soon!!
