Welcome to Brigg View - Beautiful, light and airy coastal cottage in a quiet part of The Bay Holiday Village - ideal for family holidays - with stunning balcony and views of Filey bay and onto The Brigg.

Enter into a spacious hallway, with space for your coats and shoes. Ahead is a large kitchen / lounge diner with all the appliances you'll expect for a self-catering break including a large fridge / freezer, plus extra touches like a Nespresso coffee machine (bring your pods).

There is also an excellent dining space off the kitchen, with extended oak dining table seating 6 with french doors to the patio,

Across the diner, there is a comfortable lounge with luxury sofas seating 6, with amazing bifold doors and log burner for cosy nights in. Guests wanting to use this must supply own logs

Free unlimited fast fibre wifi throughout. There is also a downstairs wc under the stairs.

Upstairs there's a large galleried landing, with 2 stunning bedrooms sharing a balcony (with seaview) each with their own en-suite shower room. There is also a large family bathroom right next to the 3rd bedroom.

-Smart TVs in lounge, dining room, and 2 rear bedrooms (own login needed)
-Unlimited wifi throughout
-One kingsize and two double rooms (Master and one double access the full width balcony)
-Two shower rooms and one house bathroom

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Excellent Christmas break with the family

We have recently returned from a great Christmas break with the family, we are a family of six adults and two dogs, the house was and the location was perfect. The only downside was that the house wasn't decorated for Christmas, but we managed to pick up a few bits locally which made it bit more festive. This would not put off booking again though. A wonderful Christmas in a great place - Thank you!

Perfect for an extended family holiday

This was our first holiday away with our daughter, her hubby and new granddaughter and it absolutely ticked all the boxes that we needed and more. The open plan downstairs is great for being sociable and there is enough distance between the two main bedrooms for a really peaceful stay. We had a couple of plumbing issues but once reported, they were acted upon immediately, absolutely brilliant service.

Great summer stay

Brilliant house which was a great size for our family and so bright with all the glass. The communal garden at the back was good for children to play out. We would definitely stay here again. The kitchen was missing a few essentials (colander, baking trays) but nothing that would spoil a holiday.

Spacious house in ideal position

Had an excellent stay here. House is in a lovely position overlooking Filey Bay with a nice outside lawn area where kids can play. House is beautifully decorated throughout with a beach theme. All 3 bedrooms have king or double beds so make sure this will suit your needs when booking. The onsite pub is way overpriced but there are lots of nearby options.

Few days at The Bay

Fantastic location and gorgeous sea views. Really quiet spot, beautiful property and very comfortable. Would definitely return and recommend. Lots of socialising room and well equipped, large open plan kitchen. Gorgeous 2nd floor balcony and great outside furniture. Lovely spacious bedrooms too. We had a brilliant time!

Brigg View and Britannia House

Brigg View and Britannia House We had an amazing time definitely will be looking to book again in the near future. Very central to get out and about good amenities and the kids loved the swimming pool. As are a large family so we actually stayed in Britannia house also where we gathered for our family meals. Both houses very spacious. and clean. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Overall a great stay

Brigg view is in an incredible location and as a family we had an amazing time. The swimming pool is very difficult to access because it’s so busy. As a suggestion perhaps going back to 30 min slots with coloured bands that used to be the way at a lot of small pools would help ensure everyone gets a turn. Or at least knows when they may gain access. Disappointed children. I just want to make it clear I didn’t have any issues with our beautiful holiday accommodation the customer service through the website was great and all the information was readily available on the app. We haven’t used Anchor Bay holidays before but due to great customer service we are already looking at booking again.

We enjoyed a comfotable stay with 4 adults a dog and baby . The open plan downstairs made it spaciou and easily accessible. 2 ensuits and a house bathroom. Maybe the 3rd bedroom would have been betterwith 2 single beds as an option. A great view and near to the Leisure Complex and access down to the beach we didn't use the leisure centre so cannot comment on that the house was well equipped. I would definitely go back again<

Beautiful family getaway

We are regulars at The Bay and decided to book a midweek stay with our extended family over the summer. We weren’t disappointed - the living area was spacious and perfect for grandparents to lounge and our children to play. The bifold doors open to the playing area outdoors with gorgeous views. The only fault I have is the doors weren’t as clean as they could’ve been, therefore the view from indoors wasn’t as welcoming. The location is great for the beach and pub. We had a lovely time.

Nice property in a lovely location, value for money.

Nice detached house with sea views in a quiet part of the bay. Short walk to the beach. Comfy bed and well equipped kitchen. Overall good value for money. Small Improvements needed: Sofas were uncomfortable, patio doors needed cleaning and there were loads of flies downstairs because the cleaners had left the front door open whilst cleaning which was annoying as they were buzzing around all week. Oh and one of the shower trays in the ensuite fills up very fast, think the drain is blocked or something. Overall though, it was a nice stay and I can’t complain for the price.

Seaside break with family

I booked Brigg View Cottage mainly for its position with sea view and access to the beach for our two young grandchildren. My husband has mobility problems so was unable to go to the beach so we pent most of our time outside on the patio. Sadly the table and chairs on the patio were in a terrible condition, covered in green mould which transferred onto our clothes. This did impact on our enjoyment of the property and needs replacing.

A lovely home from home

The cottage is beautiful throughout. Perfect location and everything has been thought of to ensure you have a brilliant stay from what you have provided for you in the cottage to the customer service from Anthony. We mentioned a maintenance notification to him just so they were aware for future visitors but Anthony was on to it straight away and had it fixed. We had a brilliant stay and would love to return to the same cottage in the future as we couldn't really fault it. We have stayed on site before in other properties and we feel the added extras for us were definitely the design and comfort of the home, the added detail from the owners from the dog cage and bed, games for the kids and added bits left in the kitchen, views and the rear garden area. Thanks again, Nathan and family.
