Casa sulla Baia is a seafront vacation rental in eastern Sicily, near Brucoli, with open views of the sea, Mount Etna and the Gulf of Catania.

It is made for guests looking for a calm stay on the coast, with a panoramic terrace, a Mediterranean garden and direct access to the rocky shore. A simple, bright and carefully kept home for couples and families who want the sea close by and a comfortable base for exploring eastern Sicily.

The living room is the heart of the house: spacious, full of light, with high ceilings, handmade terracotta floors and direct access to the terrace. The view stays part of daily life, from breakfast to the return after a day out.

The terrace faces the sea and looks towards Etna on clear days. With its wooden table, chairs and bench, it is the natural place for outdoor meals, reading, resting or simply looking out over the bay.

The kitchen is fully equipped for an independent stay. The two air conditioned bedrooms sleep up to 4 guests: one double bedroom with sea view and an antique Sicilian wardrobe, and a second bedroom with garden view, set up as a double or twin. There is one bathroom, with shower.

The garden surrounds the house with Mediterranean plants, shaded corners, loungers, a barbecue and an outdoor shower. From the garden, the steps lead down to the rocky shore, where the water is clear and deep, suitable for swimming and snorkeling when conditions allow. This is not a sandy beach: the sea here is enjoyed from the rocks. Water shoes are recommended.

There is also an almost intact Second World War bunker in the garden, a rare and quiet trace of this coast’s history.

The house sits in a peaceful residential setting. Brucoli is about 7.5 km away, with restaurants, cafés and small local services. To reach Casa sulla Baia and move around the area, guests need a car or motorbike, as there is no public transport nearby.

Catania Airport is about 40 minutes away by car. Syracuse and Ortigia are about 30 to 35 minutes away, Noto about 50, Taormina about 60 and Mount Etna about 50.

Casa sulla Baia is set up for independent stays, with no hotel services. Breakfast, daily cleaning and linen changes during the stay are not included. Because of the steps, different levels and rocky sea access, the house is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
