We stayed at this flat for 4 nights in November- our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. It had great views of the city, and everything was clean and well organized. The beds were comfortable, and the flat was big enough for all of us. The concierge was helpful, and the tube was right outside the door- providing easy access to anywhere in London. I'm glad we had the opportunity to stay here. Thanks again!

Great stay

Superb stay at extremely well located and well appointed apartment, 9 mins walk (even with legs of a 4 and 7 yr old) to London eye, concierge security, modern furniture all through the property. Only issue was speakers in stereo, which I couldn't make work, but I am not very HiFi literate and this could have been me. We will go back and would unreservedly recommend. Clean, central, safe, modern - ideal

The apartment was great, everything as stated on the VRBO. We stayed over New Years with our 2 teenage boys and it was perfect. Were able to watch the fireworks from the Waterloo Bridge and walked back to the apartment after midgnight, within walking distance to the Eye. The Grand Union Pub just down the street had the biggest and best burgers we have tasted. Shopping on lower Marsh Street for groceries easy walk to. With the Tube right next door to the building and the bus service excellent to get around. Also Waterloo station within walking Distance. Everything you needed right there. - Thank you enjoyed the stay and definitely be back next time in London. The apartment had everything you needed it was like being at home.

We will add our voice to all the previous comments and agree that Anna's flat is a perfect "home away from home" while in London. The flat is spacious, clean and bright and has everything you will need to make your vacation enjoyable and relaxing. We loved the view of the Eye from the flat and the building's location makes it incredibly easy to jump on a bus or the tube and get wherever you are planning to explore in the City. We have three children (6, 7 and 9) and the size of the flat allowed everyone to have their space - whether in the morning allowing the children to watch their favourite TV shows while we prepared breakfast or to decompress after a busy day visiting the sites of London. It was a fabuulous week and we definitely recommend staying in this flat if you are planning to visit London!

New home in London

Wife and I and our 11 year old granddaughter spent 9 days in London (1-10 June). The flat was one of the highlights of the trip. Having a comfortable, spacious spot to relax was wonderful for both the seniors and the young one. We had breakfast in the flat every morning with fresh fruit and croisants from across the street. Routinely only ate one meal out-saved $$. Recommend the Iceland Supermarket on Lower Marsh Rd.,Cotto Italian restaurant, the Super Fish.Chips restaurant at 191 Waterloo Rd, and the discount book store on Waterloo Rd. Anna was great in answering a wide variety of questions and the flat was wonderful as expected from the photos. Paypal was a convenient to make payment and receive the return deposit. We used the library on Lower Marsh Road for Internet. Sightseeing highlights were Beating Retreat Ceremony, Wicked, Science Museum, and a one day outing to Paris on Eurostar. Highly recommended.

Our family of 4 (wife, me...

Our family of 4 (wife, me and a 7 year old and 4 year old) stayed from Sept 1-5. The flat was perfect for our family. There was enough room to play cards and watch TV in the living room without feeling we were cramped. The boys loved the views of the London Eye especially at night when it was lit up. Speaking of the London Eye it is only a quick 10-13min walk from the Flat. Each morning, I would walk to Starbuck's right near the eye to pick up a latte. The area is safe and the location can't be beat. It is a quiet area with little tourist traffic, yet the access to the tube can't be beat. Just outside the flat. There was a 3 day tube strike on the last 2 days of our stay. We were not affected much since the bus stops are just outside the door. Bring a laptop if you can, since the appartment has high speed internet access I was able to plan bus trips easily using the london transportation web site. I could not have been easier. You can buy tube and bus passes at the Lambeth North tube station just outside the flat. If you are looking for an authentic "chippy" there is Master Super Fry on Waterloo, short walk from the flat. It was rated very high . We went there and had great food an service. If we come back to London, we will definitely rebook here. Thanks Anna, great communication and a pleasure to deal with

Great place to stay in London

We visited London in January 2011. This apartment was spacious and well equipped. We had plenty of room for the 5 of us, even using the fold out bed in the living room. It is in a good location right near Lambeth tube station and we walked easily each day across the Westminster Bridge and into the heart of London. Anna was very responsive and helpful and the concierge was very informative and always there and security doors to the building made it very secure. Thank you Anna!

London Flat in Great Location

This apartment is located convenient to the Lambeth North Underground. The flat was spacious and clean with great views of the city. The area felt safe and the building has security 24 hours a day. We have rented through VRBO within the United States but never internationally. The process was easy and everything was just as it was stated in the listing. The owner was great to work with and we would highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect for us

This was a great apartment for us. There were 3 adults visiting London for a quick 3 days. The location (literally next to the tube station) was the perfect launch point. Within a 5 minute walk is the Imperial War Museum, London Eye, Westminster or Waterloo Station for even more train/tube transfers. The bedrooms are bigger than the pictures show. Comfy beds & we loved the heated towel racks in the bathrooms. We have already told friends about this amazing place.

Amazing Stay

My husband and two children (5 & 2) truly enjoyed our stay in your apartment! It was the perfect finish to a 3 week trip to Europe. The view was absolutely amazing and the location right next to the tube station was great. We spent 2 full days hitting all of the sights with our kids and it was so nice to be able to head back to such a lush and comfortable flat. My only regret is that we didn't have more time in London to enjoy the flat. We had amazing Chinese take-away one night and the best fish and chips we've ever had! Thank you Anna. If we ever return to London for a stay, we would love to stay in your home again.

Convenient and Comfortable!

We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights in July. It was rather warm and humid during our stay and the air conditioning worked wonderfully to keep us cool and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessary basic spices, oils and utensils you need for cooking. The view from the apartment was really wonderful. You have views not only of the London Eye, but of part of the Parliament building, church steeples and the London Skyline too! I also think the pictures make it look smaller than it actually is. The master bedroom is very spacious – enough room for us to place 5 suitcases open around the room AND easily walk around. The Master bedroom also has a small desk area we were able to set up our laptop to use (with free wireless Internet in the apartment). The other nice thing was that we had the sofa bed made up for the kids to sleep on and there was still another sofa and chair to use AND room to get around the room without having to put the sofa bed away every day. The London Eye is only a 10 minute walk with numerous restaurants all around the area. The Waterloo train station is 7 minutes away (and you can rent a car there for day trips). Everything was easy and convenient! We highly recommend this apartment and will use it again if we return to London. The only things I would change is more shelving in the master bathroom, a shower curtain in the hallway bathroom and the beds could use a mattress pad of some sort to make them not so hard. They were still ok, but a pad would make them perfect!?

Our family of four stayed five nights in the apartment and it was a welcomed break from the hotel room of the previous seven nights. The apartment was cozy and had the extra room to spread out a bit. The apartment is directly next door to a tube station which made it a snap for getting around London. It was also great to have a washing machine to catch up on laundry during the trip. Be sure to check out Cotto's, the Italian restaurant, across the street. The food is great and the owner was very friendly.

Springtime in London

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to London and this apartment made the trip more convenient than we had even expected. All of the comforts of home were provided. In addition, the location of this flat proved quite efficient for all of our shopping needs and for our tourist activities. The close proximity of the tube station outside the complex, sincere help and information from the concierge service, and in-house amenities made this stay much better than our previous "luxury" hotel stays in London. The layout provided ample space for our 4 adults, 1 teenager, and baby. The washing machine, luxurious restrooms, and extra seating provided the comforts we could never find in any hotel. The air conditioning also served us well during an abnormally hot spring week. We will definitely seek out this apartment in all of our future stays in London and look forward to our chance to work with this property owner again!

Great apartment in a great location

Good beds, superbly equipped apartment, just a couple of minutes' walk from the Eye and Waterloo Station but still fairly quiet, Tube station right next door, 24-hour concierge, all-night supermarket just across the road. The view from the balcony takes in Big Ben and the Eye. Couldn't have asked for more. The good thing about the location is that if you plan your outings you can often totally do without the tube. For anyone dropping off a hire car (as we did), there's a drop-off station at the Oval just a couple of hundred yards down the road. Highly recommended.

Holiday in London for family of 5

The apartment provide our family (2 adults and 3 children) with the perfect base for a week's sightseeing in London. The apartment was clean and well-maintained and had everything we needed for the week. We had all the information we needed. The lisitng is an accutrate refelction of the apartment - if anything the apartment was better than expected. It is very close to the underground and within easy walkiig distance of the sainsbury's near Waterloo station. The view of London Eye at night is spectacular. We had a great week and would definitley recommend this propoerty to family and friends.

Close proximity to the Tube and gorgeous view of the London Eye

What a terrific location with Lambeth North Tube literally around the corner! I loved the view of the London Eye from the both bedroom windows and balcony. Anna's flat was immaculate and spacious. The flat was warm, welcoming and comfortable. After a busy day of sightseeing, we looked forward to relaxing at Anna's flat. Having a washer/dryer was a great plus for travelers. I would definitely return to Anna's flat on my next trip to the UK!

Comfortable, well equipped, excellently located apartment

We stayed with our two adult children four days during the beginning of the (cold) month May 2010.The apartment contributed considerably to an excellent stay in London: comfortable, clean and well equipped. Public transport (bus and tube) are within 50 metres of the apartment. And two supermarkets are just across the street. Staff is very kind and helpful. Contact with Anna (owner) via e-mail was easy and swift. We would surely recommend this apartment to others.

So nice I stayed there twice

I recommend this quiet, comfortable, modern apartment in a great location. Walk to the Old Vic for theater, walk to Lower Marsh Street for meals, walk to the London Eye and the river. When you get tired of walking take a nearby tube or train. Or stay at home to enjoy WiFi and the view from the balcony.

Wonderful location

Lambeth Tube Station is literally around the corner, County Hall with the Aquarium, Eye, Thames River, and terrific restaurants (Troia and Locale in particular) are just a few minutes walk away. We had two adults and three teens staying in the apartment and there was truly enough room for all of us. Plenty of amenities on hand (kitchen, laundry) and clear instructions, even an interesting selection of books on the shelves! Anna in particular was wonderful, jumping through some hoops for us to stay an extra day when BA went on strike and stranded us in England. I cannot wait for our next visit -- we will definitely stay here!

Great location - easy access to the Tube - very nice apartment

There were five in our family, and we enjoyed the locale--and the upscale apartment. A Tube stop was right next to the condo, and it was a very short walk to Westminster bridge, Big Ben, and the fabulous London Eye (not cheap--but well worth the ride). Every morning I walked to a coffee/sandwich store to get breakfast for the family. So easy, and such kind and helpful people. For lunch or dinner we would stroll to the nearby pub called 'Horse." The location could NOT have been better. When we first arrived at the apartment, we noticed that there was beer, soft drinks, salads, fruits etc in the refrigerator. It was nice to get food after a long trip--and of course we replenished after our week was over. All in all, I plan to return to this apartment again in a few years!
