The perfect villa for a mixed generation family gathering! the Villa is so well equipped and it truly is a home away from home. Both older and younger members of the family appreciated all the amazing features of the property. It is perfectly located for a walk down into the village and Jemma and Jamie were very responsive to any questions we had.

We had a fantastic stay! Communication with the host was great, and check-in was smooth and straightforward. The property itself was very comfortable and exceptionally well equipped — everything we needed was provided. The location was excellent, with a short downhill walk into town (and a nice steep walk back to work off dinner!). The unexpected maid service was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Overall, a wonderful stay at a fantastic property — highly recommended!

Villa Ambrazul

The villa is a very nice property in a secluded and quiet location. Within walking distance of the town centre. The amenities are all good quality and the villa is spacious and clean and tidy. The maid is first class at cleaning the place. Pool area is a sun trap the whole day and the pool is clean.A very nice villa in a great location… this was our 3rd visit

Lovely clean, spacious and modern property which was perfect for our two families of four. The two downstairs bedrooms allowed the families to have an extra level of privacy. Really well stocked kitchen with everything you could need for cooking/self-catering. Lovely clean pool with plenty of pool towels and sun loungers as well as some inflatables for the kids, great sized bedrooms with lots of storage and good standard of bathrooms and decor. It’s a little walk out of town (around 10-15mins down a steep hill, which might be tricky with younger kids/elderly people) but we enjoyed being away from the hubbub. Very peaceful and private with lovely sea views from the roof terrace.

Perfect

For us: Perfect. You can spend more for a minimalist monolith if that is your bag but this Villa is homely, comfortable, maintained spotlessly, daily by the charming Fatima, the gardening team & the pool man.The kitchen drawers & cupboards hold all the cutlery, crockery & kitchen utensils you could need. You can eat outdoors or indoors at your will. The pool area is private & barely overlooked. The area is quiet, the birdsong is prevalent. Look out for Gary the Gecko (he's shy & harmless) every dusk! We paid extra to heat the pool. It takes the gamble out of the weather but it's usually debateable if you need it. It is safe for children who can swim but is pretty deep for those who cannot, yet? Adult supervision is necessary (but wouldn't that be the same anywhere?)

We were delighted with the accommodation. As a party of 7 there was more than enough of everything including pool loungers, towels and seating both inside and outside. The deep 2m pool was great but as an older age group a hand rail would seem a necessary requirement for safely entering and exiting the pool. The pool itself and surrounding area would have benefited from some more ambient lighting for enjoying the area after dark. It was great having Fatima who came in every day to clean and tidy and the laundry room with unlimited access was a real boon. We managed to lock ourselves out so it would be good to have instructions not to leave a key in the inside of the front door but Jamie was very helpful to quickly come to our rescue. Property and bedding was very clean with loads of hot water but towels could probably do with updating to keep it at the high standard of everything else. Villa location was excellent set in lovely mature gardens and very private. We would definitely recommend and hope to return.
