The cottage has been lovingly decorated with a combination of antiques from the estate collection as well as contemporary art and designer fabrics. Design and comfort really matter to us and we hope that you find the cottage not only provides the perfect base for your Highland getaway but the perfect home to come back to. Behind the cottages, Tulliemet moor opens up and a three-mile track over the moor leads out to Loch Broom.

Beautiful place to stay

Just the most peaceful setting for a few days of peace and quiet. Lodge was so comfortable with everything provided to ensure a comfortable stay. Bit of a bumpy narrow road to navigate but well worth it when you get there.

A Magical Holiday

We had the most wonderful time staying at this beautiful cottage. My husband , dog Nellie and I booked East, while my daughter and son in law booked West , the cottage next door. Both cottages ( we were in and out of each other’s) are thoughtfully decorated and have a warm and cosy feel to them. The kitchen is well equipped and spotless, as are the bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable too. The location is both spectacular and peaceful, with views across the valley . It snowed while we were there making our stay even more special. There are walks around the cottages and it was a treat to see the local wildlife . My son in law , a professional photographer, was able to capture some amazing photos of the stars and Jupiter and its moons due to lack of light pollution in the area. We visited Pitlochry ( New Year’s Day) and Dunkeld (Tay Bank Hotel) and of course the famous House of Bruar. Tweed and tartan rugs were bought ! We had an absolutely wonderful time and I can’t wait to return !

Magical week in Scotland

My partner and I, and our two dogs, spent an amazing week in this lovely cosy cottage. Every comfort was provided, and after gorgeous long walks up in the hills we knew we would come back to a place where we could warm up in front of the fire or in the hot bath. Highly recommend this amazing cottage for its stunning views, incredible walks, fully equipped interior and friendly assistance nearby. Close to so many sights and places to visit.

Perfect Holiday Stay

The house is beautifully designed and decorated. It’s spotless clean and cosy! Yvonne was really kind, she took care that we have all we need. We had a warm welcome. We could visit the Blair Castle which was a great treat, we really appreciate the opportunity! I would simply recommend it and we hope to come back to Tullimet valley again!

Peace and quiet with an ever changing view

The cottage itself is delightful and the decoration is beautiful. Very welcoming when we arrived as the lights were on and it was super cosy which made it very easy to relax. It has a second small bathroom downstairs with a sink and toilet in it which is handy as the stairs are at quite a steep angle so means you don't need to go upstairs every time you need the toilet. The views are amazing and they changed on a daily basis depending on the weather. It really is very peaceful and relaxing. The only thing to note if you are thinking of staying here is the road up to the cottage. You definitely need a suitable car to navigate the road as it is not in great condition, it took us 8min to drive the road at a very slow and steady pace.

a relaxing Family get-Together

We found a place where we could get together as a family (from London, Maastricht & Quedlinburg) and really unwind after busy weeks at work. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our holidays in these wonderful surroundings. The holiday cottage had everything we needed – both in terms of location and facilities. There was plenty of space for us to get together, yet everyone had their own space to retreat to. The furnishings were comfortable, practical and full of character. The view from the kitchen was the highlight for us. Sometimes it was enough simply to watch the changing weather and the animals from the kitchen. the only minor drawback was the bathroom situation. We could see that, to improve guests’ comfort, a shower facility had been added at a later date. However, we almost felt guilty about washing our hair, as the bathroom wasn’t structurally designed to allow the shower water to run off. The bathroom door also jammed on several occasions, meaning family members had to be ‘rescued’ from the bathroom. But this didn’t really spoil our wonderful holiday. We were able to set off on both short and long walks straight from the door. We explored the Tay Valley by car, as well as taking trips to the Glencoe and Cairngorms National Parks. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Inverness were all easily accessible by train and car. We quickly felt ‘at home’ and would, of course, have loved to stay longer. We’ll have to come back, in the hope that it won’t be so long that the apple tree obstructs the view by then. We would have loved to enjoy the ‘Blairinraish East’ cottage for a few days longer and there was still so much we would have liked to explore.

Very reaped , happy, family get together

I was very impressed with East Blairinraish cottage. Family birthday with parents. Plenty of space in cottage which was very cosy. Lovely bedrooms. Perfect location, very quiet, amazing views and sunrises. Very easy to get to Bruar, Pitlochry and of course visit to Blair castle. Will def be back. A big thank you to Yvonne the housekeeper, really friendly and helpful.

A different view of Pitlochry

We have stayed for many years around Pitlochry and as this was a special occasion we booked a lodge on the Blair Atholl estate at Tullimet. Set in ancient woodland and high above the Tummel Valley , one can’t be disappointed with the views, the air and space. The house was warm, comfortable and clean, offering direct walks to the hills and Lock Broom . The host/house keeper Yvonne is exceptional and quickly settled us into our lodge and surroundings. This place is super special, so if you are considering booking, just do it… you won’t be disappointed.

A wonderful stay on the Tulliemet estate

Blairinraish is in a beautiful rural location. The views from the cottage are outstanding and our 2 year old granddaughter, who is just beginning to express words that we can easily identify, was heard to say “I can see the whole world”. The cottage had been refurbished to a high standard and was very comfortable. The housemartins were very active feeding their young and the wild raspberries at the side of the track were sweet. It was an ideal location for us. The cottage had been very well prepared for our stay and the couple who looked after it couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. I apologise for forgetting names! We had a lovely stay and would like to come back.
