In summer, explore the legendary hiking trails just a short distance away. At 1757 meters above sea level, Pampeago sits at the heart of the Ski Center Latemar, nestled beneath the famous Corallo Mountain, rich in ancient legends (the famous Latemar Dolls). Nearby, we recommend a visit to Varena, one of the oldest villages in the valley, renowned in the 19th century for its healthful hay baths with aromatic herbs and its typical monolithic porphyry fountains. Don't miss a trip to Via Stava leading to Tesero, where you can visit some of the characteristic Fiemme houses, such as Casa Peterli, an example of an ancient rural house with a thatched roof.
