Quietly located on a pretty hillside in the heart of the Florentine countryside the property is part of a 14th-century farmhouse and is surrounded by a large fenced-in garden and century-old trees. The villa is semi-independent with a private entrance and an automatic gate. Ideally set up for alfresco living the property benefits from a large, paved terrace with a gazebo for pleasant outdoor meals, a BBQ and a sun terrace.

Inside the characterful house is arranged over two floors and is decorated in traditional Italian style, with carefully chosen antiques and well-kept furnishings. The ground floor benefits from several flexible living spaces. The main open-plan living room is furnished with a comfortable seating area, a smart flat-screen TV, a coffee table, a beautiful fireplace and a dining table. There is also an additional dining room and an eat-in kitchen enjoying access to the terrace. The kitchen is equipped with; a coffee machine, a cooker hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer. Upstairs guests can relax quietly in the reading room.

The property is located in the Chianti wine region, a 45-minute drive from the centre of Florence. The historic town of Montespertoli, is a 6-minute drive away where guests can visit the castle, explore the historic centre and find grocery stores, boutiques cafes and bars. Wine lovers will enjoy the beautiful Tuscan estates of Tenuta Barbadoro (an 8-minute drive), Casa di Monte (a 10-minute drive) Cantina Sociale Colli Fiorentini (a 12-minute drive) and Terre di Perseto (a 28-minute drive).

Fashion fans will be in heaven at the outlet shopping centres Firenze Mall and Leccio Mall which are both a 50-minute drive away. Here visitors will find labels including Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Burberry and Valentino.

Other popular excursions include; a trip to the medieval town of Pisa and the sandy beaches of The Tyrrhenian Coast, and a visit to the historic town of Siena (all a one-hour drive). Additionally, the beautiful Villa Torre a Cona and the charming town of Greve in Chianti are a 48-minute drive away, Certaldo a 30-minute drive and the UNESCO world heritage site of San Gimignano a 40-minute drive.

For a day of relaxation, visitors can head to Rapolano Terme (a one-hour 15-minute drive). The town is renowned for its thermal baths which have been utilised since Roman times and are believed to have therapeutic properties. The spas offer a range of wellness treatments and therapies.
