Overall, lovely stay at Plantation Cottage! I bright my mom and auntie to Kauai for the first time, and this was a solid choice in terms of accommodations. The house is large and bright, and well-situated for exploring the whole island, really, as getting from the house to the main road is a short drive.Amenities were fine; the view is gorgeous, and the outdoor deck for sunset views is a lovely spot to hang out. Some of the beach gear and the stove could use some love, but overall we had an amazing time.

Amazing stay in a beautiful south shore property

We loved our stay here. The pool and hot tub were such a plus and the outdoor terrace is so tranquil, beautiful and relaxing. Rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms were great. Beds were very comfortable and there was a lot of natural light in the home, which we loved. 100% recommend this home for a family or multiple couples. Close to the beach and south shore attractions. Lovely neighborhood - we were so pleased with our stay and would love to vacation here again! Thank you!

AMAZING PLACE IN PARADISE!

This beautiful home was more than expected! Spacious, nicely furnished, and the pool and hot tub the icing on the cake! Conveniently located to all we wanted to do on the island. Beautiful home close to Poipu Beach

Home was very comfortable for 3 couples, each bedroom had its own private bath. The beds were so comfortable, that’s huge for us when traveling. Hot tub was a huge asset after hiking and biking! Highly recommend!

Birthday trip

This place was very beautiful. It came completely stocked with everything you could need, kitchen utensils, appliances, beach chairs and towels, etc. the views from the backyard and balconies were amazing and the location couldn’t have been better for access around the island. I would 100% rent this house again and would recommend it to anyone.

We went for Christmas holiday. Was a great house with nice amenities.. Did not use pool as the water was too cold but hot tub was a hit. Rooms were large and well appointed and kitchen had everything we needed.

Family trip

This listing is exactly as pictured. Excellent neighborhood close to beaches. We really enjoyed the layout of this house and the three master bedrooms which allowed all of us to have our own bathrooms. The pool was amazing to jump in after a long day in the sun and in the ocean. Overall we loved this spot. House is great for a large family.

Kauai couples golf trip

Property is in a very nice neighborhood that is convenient to Poipu and many shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and rooms were great for 3 couples with privacy, etc. Jacuzzi was very nice. Pool a bit cold and the landscaping could use some work but overall I would stay here again.

Perfect Family House!

Enjoyed it all! Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. The porch built to view the golf course was perfect for morning coffee/afternoon cocktails. Location was perfect; walked to beaches, coffee, restaurants. Everything we needed was there and the managers helped with minor issues. Great communication, really easy all around. Loved it and highly recommend!

Private pool was awesome.

We had a great time. Neighborhood is quiet and off the beaten path, yet close drive to town and restaurants. You can’t beat having your own private pool and hot tub. My only complaint would be that the washing machine was slow, took forever to wash and dry towels! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. As a side note, don’t pass up Paco’s Tacos at the golf course! Close, great breakfast and affordable and tasty food with live music in the evenings.

Amazing home for a relaxing vacation in Kaua’i

We had an amazing stay at this property in Poipu, Kaua’i! The house was impeccably clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the utensils and appliances we needed. The pool and hot tub were fantastic and also very clean, providing a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. The property managers were quite responsive to our questions, which we appreciated. The only minor inconvenience was the ‘text only’ number provided for communication. Replies came from a different number, so we had to manage two separate chat threads for incoming and outgoing messages. The location of the property was excellent, with plenty of nearby restaurants and stunning beaches just a short distance away. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great stay in Poipu!

Won’t return

Communication Started off rocky with property manager, but later improved I’ve stayed in this area before in an amazing home- this one was @ the same $$ but no where near as nice Pros- good a/c, functional kitchen, nice bath products , comfy beds Cons- outdoor area needs lots of attention Only one chaise lounge, no cushions on hard metal chairs around fire pit , cracked tiles, debris all over the pool and yard, broken blow up pool toys stuffed in a corner, for the price of this home I expected much more

We apologize for any inconvenience you may have faced in regards to communication with your property manager, but we are so happy to hear that the experience improved during your stay. It is frequently windy in this area so it is not uncommon for landscaping debris to be blown into the pool area since the landscapers and pool cleaners come on a weekly basis to maintain the property, but we apologize for the impact this may have had on your stay and we appreciate your feedback so that we can look into other solutions. We also greatly appreciate your feedback regarding the other outdoor amenities and will ensure that the nonfunctional pool toys are removed and that the chaises are arranged better and the fire pit chairs are updated for future guests. Great House in Koloa

We stayed at a lovely 3-bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home on the golf course in Koloa for nine days and thoroughly enjoyed the property. We made full use of the pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, grill and fire pit during our stay. The location couldn't have been more convenient, with a short drive to beaches, restaurants and shopping in Koloa and Poipu. One thing that needed upgrading was the outdoor furniture, which was dated and only had one lounge chair. We used the large, smart TV in the living area and did laundry quite a few times, which was very convenient. The kitchen was fully equipped for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the property manager made sure that the house was stocked with an initial supply of paper goods. The house came with enough beach chairs and umbrellas for our group of 6. The rooms were well-cooled with A/C and ceiling fans and the outdoor space was beautifully landscaped. Property management was very responsive to any issues we had. I would certainly rent this property in the future.

Wonderful family home

Location is perfect for a kauai family vacation because it is away from the weekday traffic in the Lihue and Kapaa areas. Shops like big save and longs drugs are right down the road. Do it right and go to Costco for your meats and frozen items. The home has plenty of spices flour and sugar and oil to cook with. The bedrooms were all very comfortable as they all have a/c and their own bathroom. The pool and jacuzzi is going to have debris in it from the garden and the winds, it’s inevitable. They do leave a skimmer out for that. The cookware, pots and pans are pretty worn out but they do get the job done. The home itself shows a little wear and tear as expected with a vacation rental but I personally appreciated that when arriving with my family. I didn’t have the anxiety about staying in a place that was too pristine. It’s well equipped for a family that wants to have fun, play board games, bbq and play in the pool.

Family Vacation

We like this neighborhood for its quiet atmosphere and close location to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. The house was a good size for our family of six - two grandsons (ages 8 and 11), their parents and grandparents. All the bedrooms have king beds - one with two beds would have been more comfortable for the boys. The bathrooms are nice. The pool is a good size. Light in the pool must have a short as it randomly worked. There are beautiful plants in the landscaping but the palms need a good trimming. Great to have a washer and dryer. The six beach chairs and nice beach towels a plus. The main living area has a combination of furniture styles and is a bit overcrowded with some furniture in front of part of the patio doors. This gives a crowded, mismatched feeling to the area. Some of the wooden tables show wear, as does the wooden counter holding the microwave and toaster. More than two dish towels and a sponge would have been convenient in the kitchen. Otherwise, the kitchen is well equipped. The indications around the oven knobs are worn off, making it difficult to determine where to set them. No manual and property manager no help with this. It was Thanksgiving and we are a family that likes to cook! This is a nice house but I wouldn’t call it “lavish” as titled in listing.
