Beautiful lake views in quiet neighborhood lots of wildlife ( geese, ducks herons, whooping cranes and eagle). Cabin with everything you would need. Decorated very nice clean and comfortable furniture and my spouse enjoyed the sauna and we both enjoyed the outside fireplace. Would highly recommend staying here. Only had trouble getting TV to work, but Faith answered our call and explained what two switches on wall had to remain on for TV to function. Thank you for sharing your cabin we had a very relaxing time.

Loved the cottage and all it offered! The place was clean, bright and airy, with a clear view of the serene lake. We had no intention of using the sauna, but found it a delightful amenity that we used almost daily. Location was ideal to explore the peninsula and all of its natural attractions.

This place is AMAZING!!! So clean and welcoming - the hosts have thought of EVERY possible amenity someone could need while staying here! Right down to a couple of cast iron skillets!!!! Full kitchen appliances, full washer, dryer, comfy beds, air conditioning, fans, board games, soap, shampoo, conditioner.... everything you need is here. The only thing you need to bring is your food!Love, love, love this home away from home! This is our second year coming here, and we plan on being back next year as well!!! We cannot say enough good things about this home. If you need a place to stay in the Houghton area - this is it!!!

Overall our stay was incredible! An important note to any travelers with mobility issues. My mom needed to use a walker due to a broken leg earlier in the summer. The bathroom was difficult for her to use because of the tight space.It was also hard to get her inside the home because of two steps with no rails. There was a delay in the messaging in the Vrbo app. The property managers came to the property to help with issues we were having with the TV. They were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. They sincerely wanted to make sure we had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation. I will definitely come back to this location. The amount of items in the kitchen was extensive. They had everything. .

Will be booking here next time!!

We loved everything about this place. So cozy and homey. We enjoyed every last second of the sauna and lake and took as many sauna swims as we possibly could in a week. The location is also just perfect.

Anniversary trip

This was the perfect location for us to site see in the entire Keweenaw peninsula. We also traveled to the Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the clouds all in a day trip. The property was beautiful, clean and modern. The sauna was the perfect ending to the day.
