Within this village, you will find a selection of pubs, a restaurant, a fish and chip shop, a SPAR and a wealth of local business. Within one mile, you will find the larger, coastal town of Porthmadog which plays host to a larger selection of amenities to suit all. Moreover, as the village rests on the edge of the wonderful Snowdonia National Park, visitors can use Tremadog as a base to explore miles of countryside, complete with Wales’ tallest mountain, woodlands, beaches and areas steeped with charming history. Further afield, is the seaside resort of Harlech, where you can walk along the beach, explore the imposing medieval castle or settle within a café and gaze out across the sea. Nearby villages include the Italian-style village of Portmeirion and the town of Criccieth, each well worth a visit. Tremadog is a quaint village, ideal for exploring North Wales.
