Paws a While! caravan with uninterrupted views of Solent and direct beach access

A warm welcome awaits you and your pets at my charming caravan! Idyllically situated on the edge of a nature reserve, with stunning views across the Solent and direct beach access. Relax on the decking and watch the cruise ships and yachts sail by. Families will love the vibrant sports area, featuring football and basketball courts; for the younger members an enclosed playground. There are extra facilities to enjoy during the Park’s open season (mid March-end October). These include swimming pool, restaurant, clubhouse with WiFi, amusements, supermarket, takeaway and launderette. Passes are available from Reception (£21pp for 7 days or £18.90pp 0-6 days). PLEASE NOTE: there is no public transport serving Thorness Bay. This six birth accommodation has three bedrooms; one double with en-suite, tv and hairdryer plus two twin rooms and a family shower room. The fully equipped kitchen, inc. washing up pack and tea towels, comprises of a gas cooker, fridge freezer and microwave: plus ample cupboard space for all your provisions. The lounge has a dining table, Dimplex electric fire, smart tv and DVD player. The caravan benefits from double glazing and full central heating for guests staying during the colder months. I provide a Welcome Pack consisting of various teas and coffees, milk, soft drinks, cakes, biscuits and a bowl of fresh fruit: not forgetting your equally important fur babies, there’s a treats pack for them too! For your convenience, beds are made up on arrival and towels are included. There is a reserved parking space for you. Whether you’re unwinding on site or exploring the local attractions, this holiday home is the ideal retreat for a delightful getaway by the sea!

Paws a while is a lovely caravan to stay in. It has beautiful views across the Solent. Watching the boats come and go while enjoying the view from the decking area was really enjoyable. The site it's situated on in Thorness Bay is very quiet with access down to the bay. Lovely for a nice stroll. The caravan was lovely and clean, well equipped and the owner was always easy to reach and communicate with. It was a great base for our days out or just to unwind and lazy days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

What an amazing property! One of the best, most well-equipped holiday homes we have ever stayed in. The location is perfect, having a sea view and easy access to the beach. The mobile home was spotlessly clean with everything that was needed and more! The treats for both humans and our dog were very much appreciated. We were also extremely grateful for the fact that the decking is shaded for most of the day and evening, meaning we could still enjoy sitting out even through a heatwave when it was too hot for the dog (and us) to do anything else!Thank you Sharon x

Amazing accommodation, ideal location as close to the beach, restaurant, park, sports courts for the children to kick a football around. We have a 3 and 5 year old and it was perfect for them. Property was spotless and Sharon had thought of all the little things to make it easy to stay like milk in the fridge, washing upLiquid, tea towel. There was even a range of DVDs which came in useful as we visited during a heat wave. Shower was also really good, hot and powerful. We loved it!

Delightful accommodation

We stayed here as a group of four for four nights as we were going to the IoW festival. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The owner provided a very generous welcome pack which was most appreciated. Everywhere was very clean and fresh. The view over the Solent from the decking was wonderful.

Warm, airy with high ceilings, and so much space. A hoover to keep those pesky walkd in/blown in leaves, had a great 4 days will certainly be back.

This may be the best-equipped rental I have stayed in. The highlight was the view from the deck! Absolutely beautiful. Comfy beds, good shower, everything you need. The location feels very private despite being in a holiday park. Was quite close to playground and entertainment centre but wasn’t noisy at night at all (nor the day actually). One shower and two toilets. Four adults was probably max. There are a couple of fans but even though it was 30 degrees one day we didn’t need them as it cools down with windows open. Very thoughtful and generous welcome pack with milk, juice, fruit, cake, biscuits. Everything was exactly as listed. Area: You definitely need a car as nothing else in the area, but it’s a short walk to the beach. There’s a shop, ice cream shop and a chippy, as well as pub grub. The food was good as was the service although ambience a bit rough and ready. We didn’t use the pool so can’t comment on that.

This caravan was in the most beautiful position, we loved sitting out in the mornings having breakfast and in the evenings having dinner watching the ships sail past. This was the perfect position for walking our two dogs down to the beach every day and enjoying the surroundings. Sharon left us some sweet treats, milk, and a full fruit bowl for our arrival, such a lovely welcome. The caravan was very comfortable and had everything we could possibly want. We hope to return again next summer.

Lovely view!

We stayed 5 nights in Paws-a-While - 3 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog. It was great. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable seating area with a nice big TV and the most brilliant decking area with uninterrupted views of the Solent. The main bedroom is a good size but the two other twin rooms.are quite small. So the place certainly lends itself to a family with younger kids, rather than a group of adults. The caravan is very close to the resort's main hub (restaurants, pool, games areas) and a well executed frizbee throw from the beach. It was a great base from which to explore the island. Thumbs up!
