Five minutes walk from Pile Gate, on 3rd floor (6 flights of stairs) but apartment is quiet and you’re in the heart of old Dubrovnik which is beautiful. Bed is comfortable, air conditioning is quiet. TV has Amazon and Netflix etc. well equipped kitchen, full oven. Igor was very responsive and helpful, he let us store our luggage after check out. There are sloping ceilings and yes we both bashed our heads at some point but would stay there again as liked the quirkiness and you can’t go to Dubrovnik if you are not relatively fit as there are steps everywhere. It’s the most beautiful city we have ever been to, lots of restaurants, recommend Soul Kitchen, visit Cavtat very pretty town. If you get a taxi from the airport, get the official one as Ubers can only drop you at the top and then you have a walk of around 20 minutes or go down lots of steps. Where as the official taxi can drop you at pike gate costs 50-60.

Location of apartment is great and easy to get to. Host was very communicative and gave great tips/recommendations during our stay. The apartment itself was very clean and a great space for 2 people. My husband and I are both under 5’8 and we found the bathroom a bit hard to use as the ceiling is at a slant so low. Some other parts of the apartment are also at a slant so may not be the best option for taller folks. But a great spot that’s close to everything none the less.

We had a great experience. The location is absolutely fantastic!We loved the sound of the people on the streets below. The apartment had everything we needed for our short stay. And our host was very helpful with info on taxis, tours, and other info.The only difficulty was the number of places in the apartment that had low ceiling clearance and where I was concerned about hitting my head. But I just used caution, and it worked out well.Highly recommended!
