We had a fantastic time celebrating our 25th anniversary! The condo was immaculate and equipped with all the amenities we could have ever wanted. The beach was just a stone’s throw away, and the elevator was rarely crowded. The shops across the street were a huge plus. The bed was a bit firm, but we slept soundly. We would definitely return for another stay in the future! The shops located across the street were a big bonus. The bed was a little firm, but we slept well. Great Location

Our Getaway

Condo has great AC unit, great king size bed and it was just what we needed for our getaway. Some of the furnishings are older but they all work except the ice maker in the fridge. We did not say anything about it not working but I had read on another review (if my memory serves me right) that it was not working for them as well. I don’t like judging someone else’s furnishings but the living room could use some brightening up with a lighter color of sofa and chairs. We are at the beach so lighten up the furnishings with some whites, blues, greens and sand. The TV stand seemed to be sagging in the middle? Could have been me having one too many daiquiris? The pools, hot tub and everything else was great. All in all a great condo and nicely located for shopping, great restaurant across the street and ice cream parlor too. This area is very nice and beautiful while not being too crowded. Condo has a beautiful beach but my wife and i like to get away from the crowds so we just walked down the beach to an open lot with even fewer people. We had a great time and always love to get the local fresh seafood. Cannot go wrong when you visit Perdido Key, Florida! Great place to relax and get away from it all!

Perdido Sun and fun

We enjoyed how close the beach was from the walkway. The half bath was a plus. Close to good restaurants and shops. Less codes would be nice, but overall a great vacation.

Pictures were deceiving. We were surprised to see how old and tired this unit is in reality.

Why no drapes??? You cannot watch daytime tv with the glare from outside. Plus, if one of you sleeps on the couch, you have daylight at an early hour! The tv cabinet is sagging in the middle so badly, I thought it may break. The bed needs a new mattress terribly. Both of our backs are sore now. The cracked bathroom tile in the master is awful and those mirrored doors are hideous. Just old. I would have enjoyed the deck but the furniture needs replacing. Grungy. On the other hand Gayle was lovely! So nice and friendly. The pool needs some shade in a couple of areas too. Thank goodness for the 3 restaurants across the street- they are nice. The area needs a lot of work in this section of the Gulf. The closer you get to Orange beach, the better things look. We won’t stay here again, there are just too many other options available.

We enjoyed the location. Less populated than most areas we’ve been to in the past. Luxury Costal Vacations is very accommodating.

Beautiful beaches

Checking in to Perdido Sun was easy thanks to Gayle. She is great and super helpful! Our condo is in need of updating and repairs. The patio door was almost impossible to open and there is a light switch in the bedroom that doesn't turn anything on. You have to walk into the dark room and around the corner to turn on a light. A general updating and touch up paint would make a world of difference. The condo itself is in the perfect location. The beach is beautiful and there are many restuarants close by.

Last Minute Getaway

We were very pleased with the property and condo. Loved the spacious balcony but it could use some update, comfortable furniture. Even though the condo is not the most up to date, it has everything you need. Also the location was great. I agree with the other reviews that the beach can get crowded but it is not as bad as the others. If you get down there early you should be good. I would definitely recommend this property.

Awesome Stay

Beautiful view. Great beach. Loved the area. Kids had an awesome time. Not crowded at all. Low key and not a big party area. Great for families or anyone trying to just relax. I’d definitely come back. Only thing I didn’t like was the beach chairs. Wasn’t very much space to post up next to the water unless you rent a beach chair and umbrella. Loved this vacation though and I highly recommend trying it out.

Great stay some minor repairs needed

Everything was nice never did the check in stuff. Nobody mentioned the chairs on the beach are a rental thought they came with the property. Toilet seat in master bath needs work light fixture above mirror needs attention and the toilet in the half bath flushes 3 times using a lot of water

No washer and dryer

Everything was good with the exception of there not being a washer and dryer in the unit. I read there was one and the book in the room said there was a washer and dryer. The washer and dryer is in the basement and it’s 2.00 a load.

Great last minute location for 2020!

We usually avoid high rise type condos and especially now with social distancing but this was a great spot. Wished more elevators were running bc that made it challenging as well as parking being difficult but we managed. The beach was beautiful and clean, MANY dolphins every day to watch from the awesome balcony. Enjoyed a great fishing charter trip that was unmatched and the fireworks on the 4th were our favorite so far. The condo has some wear and tear but overall very comfortable- would recommend new sheets-very scratchy and the closet in bedroom had a very unpleasant odor to it. A fan would be wonderful in the bedroom as well. We would stay here again though, I know there is some remodeling taking place this the elevators being reduced.

Cute and cozy with all provided

The unit is cute and cozy, with all amenities provided. The view is great and the access to the beach is smooth. I would have given 5 stars but there were a few issues. One, the mattress in the bedroom was very worn and too soft. Second, I had a surprise visit by a real estate agent and her client who wanted to see the apartment. This unit is currently for sale. That was all little inconvenient since I was unaware that it was being shown while guests were occupying it. Last, the sliding glass door to the balcony was nearly impossible to open and close and a couple of times I thought I was stuck and wouldn't be able to open it to get back in. But aside from these few complaints, the unit is very pleasant and I would book there again.

Great location

Sunsets are gorgeous.very comfy bed. Updating needed especially as no screen door, mosquitoes came in during the evening. And no curtain on the patio windows Grandkids woken up at crack of dawn. Needs more utensils in the kitchen and the carpet cleaned. Indoor pool was great.

Great Condo and Location

Condo was exactly as the pictures showed. Very nice, comfortable, and the balcony was perfect for staring at the water or watching the sunset. We will be back!
