We enjoyed our weekend stay. It was just my husband and I, but we had plenty of room for another couple or our adult girls. There were 2 nice size bedrooms/bathrooms, a 1/2 bath, full sized kitchen with a great table for 6 and a roomy living area. We enjoyed the extra space and sitting on the balcony overlooking the street. The weather was beautiful during our visit.

The location is excellent, however having workers performing landscaping and blowing every weekday beginning at 6:45 am was not exactly relaxing. Caution to those also to be prepared for the long set of steep stairs, you will get yourselves a workout on them

We always enjoy staying at Village Overlook.

We like the location, the ease of walking to area shops and restaurants. People watching from the balcony is fun, too.

This place was PERFECT for 2 couples. It is right in the middle of the main shopping/restaurant district. We already can’t wait to come back.

Friends getaway

Loved the location that overlooked the Main Street in St Simons. Wrought iron balcony was perfect for coffee in the am and cocktails in the pm. Spacious apartment, with large kitchen , sunken living room and 2 large and comfortable bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Perfect!

Perfect place to stay in the perfect location

This was our first trip to St Simon's Island but it won't be our last. This place is so incredibly beautiful. I can't imagine there being any more central place to stay than the Village Overlook, it's perfect. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see on the island easily. There are so many great restaurants nearby and the scenery is just amazing (seriously, I hate the beach with a passion but the oak trees and the spanish moss may have converted me. It's like they built the whole city around and under the trees). Can't wait to stay here again.

Great people watching

We had a great time at the village loft apartment. It was right on main and close to all of our venues for the wedding. The people watching was fabulous.

Great location

Easy check in and convenient parking in a busy area. A little loud late at night but not a huge deal. Can walk to multiple dining options.

Saint Simons 2023

This is our 2nd time staying at location. We love the whole vibe of the unit ands its location. The location was very convenient for walking to the pier, shops and many restaurants. Overall a great vacation. Can’t wait for our next trip to Saint Simons!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I think that this the 8th year in a row that we have rented this property. After all these years it feels like home away from home. Can't beat it for location and convenience to all that the Village offers.The stairs are getting to be a bit of a challenge when loading to go back home and unloading the vehicle upon arrival, but not an issue the rest of the time. We are getting older and could pack a little lighter. Real Escapes team has always been excellent. We are looking forward to our next visit.

New Year and Anniversary all in one
