Nestled on the Chianti hills between forests and streams, there is an organic farm, with an historic wine cellar in operation since 1404. Halfway between Florence and Siena, this farm appears, in an uncontaminated landscape of streams, forests and ancient hamlets scattered on the hills surrounding it. It is an estate with magnificent gardens, forests and agricultural land that covers over 400 hectares on the hills between Greve and Panzano in Chianti. The heart of the estate is its renaissance villa, built in 1300 by the Gherardini family, and surrounded by gardens that fill the spaces between rows of cypress trees, vineyards and olive groves.

Erbavoglio was the sharecroppers\' house where they would meet up after a day working in the fields. The farmhouse, surrounded by a large garden, is today just as homely and welcoming as ever. The entrance hall leads into a spacious, bright kitchen which opens onto the outdoor veranda and a lovely living room with its stone fireplace.

A covered outdoors dining table seats 22 guests for memorable alfresco parties.

A simple, linear garden surrounded by apple and popular trees, tall bay leaf, holm oaks and linden trees. A beautiful green field surrounds the stone farmhouses and leads to the pool that is surrounded by a solarium where you can completely relax and soak up the sun.
