Sandrine - your comfy stay

I'm very sorry to read this review. Sandrine (like The Gateway) are both family-run apartments. Cleaning is always done with attention to detail: this doesn't question your comment (but it seems very strange to me that you found the apartment 'moderately clean'). I don't know your standards, but given your very young age, I'd probably like to believe this was a very light-hearted review. Personally, when I book a vacation and therefore an apartment, I generally do it with an eye on the city and location where I'll be staying: in your case, if you want to spend 2-3 nights in Bologna, you'd likely want an apartment in Piazza Maggiore; If, but this is not your case, you spend more nights in Bologna, probably an apartment like Sandrine is more suitable for your stay, having the opportunity to visit many cities of Northern Italy in about 1 hour by train & having the opportunity to live the city center on foot, being Sandrine about 10/15 minutes (0.6 miles) from Piazza Maggiore, passing through porticos and other places of the historic city that otherwise you would hardly see with a quick tourism like yours.
