Nestled within a bustling working farm, this charming shepherd’s hut has ample space both inside and out. Open layout featuring a super comfy double bed, dining area, and kitchen, along with an en suite bathroom with a shower. offers a front-row seat to nature. Watch horses and sheep graze nearby and catch the GWR steam train crossing the viaduct from your bed. Outside, enjoy views of the Stanway fountain while breathing in fresh air.

Enjoy al fresco dining, bask in the sunshine, and relish the ambient sounds. Or visit the local pub a 2 minute drive away.

Fantastic walking trails connect to the Cotswold Way. There’s no WiFi here, so you can truly soak up nature. Plus, you can even bring your dog or horse along—just send us an enquiry to check availability.

Lovely place to stay

Had a lovely stay, the place was clean and tidy and the surroundings were peaceful and quiet. The next time I’m heading to the area I will definitely look to book this place again.

Lovely property, great location for walks. Great comms from owners and met a lovely lady onsite who recommended some great places to eat nearby.

Delightful place to stay for 1-2 people. I accessed the property from the Cotswold Way which took me about 20 minutes to head west off the trail, but was easy enough to find. Self check in and check out. The Pheasant Inn was about a 15-20 minute walk south. Very nice menu, tastes and service there.

We had such a wonderful stay at this shepherd’s hut in the Cotswolds. Set on a working farm, it offered the perfect balance of peaceful countryside escape with a real sense of rural life going on around us. The hut itself was beautifully done—cosy, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sounds of the farm and the surrounding nature was a real highlight, and the setting was absolutely stunning. What really made the experience special was how tranquil and relaxing it felt. It’s the kind of place where you can properly switch off, slow down, and just enjoy the surroundings. Despite being tucked away, it still felt accessible enough for exploring the wider Cotswolds. If you’re looking for a unique getaway with character, charm, and a touch of authentic countryside living, I’d highly recommend this place. We’d happily return!
