Welcome to Little Granary, a charming and stylish one-bedroom ground-floor apartment offering the perfect stay for those looking to unwind, explore, and immerse themselves in the beauty of Soar, South Devon. Nestled within 200-year-old Southdown Farm, this beautifully renovated retreat sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just moments from the South West Coastal Path.



Little Granary boasts a bright and airy open-plan living space, complete with a fully equipped kitchen and a compact utility room featuring a washing machine and dryer. Although there is no kettle inside the property, there is a Quooker boiling tap in the kitchen. You will find a spacious bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed, large fitted wardrobes, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Step outside to the front patio area, where you can relax and soak up the Devonshire sunshine.



Whether you're seeking relaxation, adventure, or a romantic escape, Little Granary provides a luxurious and comfortable base. Enjoy stunning walks to Soar Mill Cove, Salcombe, Bolberry, and Hope Cove, or simply relax in the beautifully designed interiors. Soar Mill Cove is only a short walk away making Little Granary the perfect place for coastal walks or relaxing on the beach.



There is parking on site for 1 car. Please note that Little Granary does not allow dogs. There is a virtually no mobile network connection available at this property.

Fantastic accommodation in a wonderful location

We really enjoyed our stay in Little Granary. Very well furnished with all that you need for a comfortable stay. A short walk from some of the most beautiful scenery in the South Hams and in a quiet and peaceful location.

Little Granary has been a pleasure to stay in, so well equipped and we appreciate the attention given to the details in renovation. The surrounding area has been good for exploring and there are many walks from here. Salcombe, Bantham and Dartmouth are particularly nice places to visit

Peaceful and relaxing stay.

It was incredibly clean and well looked after, which made it feel like a real home away from home. We love exploring the nearby beaches in Salcombe and the communication from the hosts was excellent - so helpful with tips on walks and places to visit. it was especially lovely spending time there with our daughter for our first proper getaway as a family. A really special place.

Perfect for a peaceful getaway

I had such a lovely stay at this beautiful holiday rental. The accommodation was spotless, cosy, and really well thought out—perfect for a peaceful getaway. It was such a treat to have a proper coffee machine and brand-new facilities for washing clothes, which made the stay even more comfortable. One of the highlights was the stunning walk down to the nearby cove, which felt like a little hidden gem. I’d go back in a heartbeat—already dreaming of the next trip!

A super quiet location with easy access to the stunning Devon coastline at Soar Mill cove and of course the South West Coast Path. Great food and service just a few minutes away ...in Hope Cove (we tried The Cove and The Hope and Anchor - both excellent) and Salcombe (The Ward Room does lovely breakfasts, and the Crab Shed is super for sea food - but you must book early to get a table!)... if you don't wish to cook in the rather excellent and fully equipped kitchen.

My Wife and l throughly enjoyed our stay at the Little Granary

Lovely accommodation, excellently fitted out with top quality fittings and cooking facilities, a short walk form South coast path and a lovely cove, well situated for exploring the area and lots to do and see, the weather was lovely so that increased our appreciation of the fabulous clean litter free environment. Would recommend Kingsbridge for any shopping, Dartmouth is a must and best parking close to the river is Mayors car park, get use to using carpark apps or take several pound coins. Hope to return in the future, thanks Chris and Pat The road to the little Granary could do with some large holes being filled so take care.
