Welcome to Lake and Tide Lodge - a new lodge on The Bay Filey - with lakeside facing deck, easy access to the pool and beach this is perfect for a family escape!

Lake and Tide is situated by the lake in the prestigious new gated Meadows Development and is really close to the centre of the village, the beach, tennis court, playground and village centre.

Enjoy a spacious enclosed lakeside terrace and relax in the outdoors on the lovely deck (this is ideal for dogs and children as it is enclosed)! Alongside the enclosed deck is a brick BBQ for you to use too!

Enter Lake and Tide through the step free door into the hallway with storage for coats and other essentials. To your right are the master bedroom with king size bed and ensuite shower (wet) room, and the second bedroom with two single beds. There is also another shower room with jack-and-jill doors.

To the left is the open-plan kitchen / dining / lounge space with lovely comfy seating for 4 with large SMART TV - ideal for movie nights (streaming passwords needed). There is a log burner as well - ideal for lakeside fire nights in! The kitchen is well equipped with Bosch appliances and an air fryer for your use.

Exit through the large sliding doors to the deck with seating for 4, ideal for alfresco dining (especially with the BBQ) watching the wildlife on the lake!

We leave a few games for our guests to use as well as a library of books. The centrally heated lodge is ideal for breaks all year round!

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Lovely property in great location

We have been coming to the bay for years but this is our favourite place. The location is very peaceful overlooking the lake and the property has everything that you need.

A lovely stay in a well positioned lodge.

A well stocked lodge in a lovely setting helped us to enjoy our stay. A problem with the cleaning when we first arrived was dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner. Communication was good and we would definitely recommend staying here.

Relaxing break

The property is in a very nice quiet area The furnishings are comfortable , although the double bed is a bit soft and low but nothing too bad Slight problem when we arrived, couldn’t find the iron and board, quick call got everything sorted without any fuss Generally a very pleasant stay would definitely consider a return if we head that way again

Great place great spot great value

We have stayed at The Bay before 3 years ago in a detached house which was lovely but decided to book a lodge this time. Used Anchor Bay Holidays again and couldn’t fault the communication or the Lodge itself. Really well appointed overlooking the lake and close to all amenities. Honestly a great spot right on the beach which was just ideal. Had a really good stay and will be back and won’t leave it so long next time!

Fabulous lodge in great location

Had a wonderful few days away in beautiful Filey - to escape the blistering heat ! Lake and Tide lodge was perfect for me , my husband and our 2 dogs- 2 lovely bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and lovely open plan living area with bi- gild doors out onto the decking which overlooks the lake. We enjoyed watching the wildlife every day as we sat and sipped a cool glass of something in the sun outside. The lodge is in a great spot with grassland / lovely open space for walking right next to it - perfect for our dog walks early morning and late at night. The lodge had everything we needed and was a little haven ! Would definitely recommend.

Nice few days near beach and lovely walks.

The Lodge was very nice overlooking a lake and we could watch the ducks etc.The distance to the Leisure Centre was a little walk but we liked the quietness of the Lodge. We did walk to the beach but it is a hike back up the hill if not very mobile. We did go to the pub on site but the waiting time for food was too long for us as we had 2hungry children so didn’t go back. We did the park and ride near Filey for our visit to Scarborough which I would recommend. We would visit again but maybe on our own without Grandchildren in quieter months.

The Bay Filey is a great holiday destination

Quiet location on site. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Main bed was very soft. Was disappointed that there were NO provisions on arrival. One dishwasher tablet for example to save us shopping on arrival no hand wash, no washing up liquid no sponge for washing up, no salt and pepper or oil. 2 light bulbs need replacing one in hall way one in main bathroom. We did enjoy our stay once had stocked up on basics!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are disappointed you marked us down so much for the minor issues you encountered. We did send you a full guidebook which clearly states that if there is no welcome pack when you arrive please call us and we would have brought one round immediately - you didnt call. In addition it does outline that for allergy reasons we dont provide food stuffs and soap - we hope you understand. If you stay with us again please call us and we will remedy it with our onsite staff rather than let us know via a review when you have checked out as we strive to make your holiday as welcoming as possible.
