A gem

This property is a real gem. It is located about 2 blocks from a metro line with an easy ride to all of the tourist spots. But when you get back you are in an oasis with a well stocked kitchen and a beautiful spacious patio to sit on and discuss your day. There are several groceries stores within 2 blocks and bakeries and coffee shops. We would definitely stay here again. Our hosts were communicative and helpful. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Great space

We stayed for 2 nights, very cozy place. The view from the balcony is really nice. 1 bedroom and a pullout couch was Perfect for the 3 of us. Overall it was very clean, and the host is very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and well equipped apartment close to Monasteraki

For our first trip to Athens we chose to stay in an apartment rather than a small hotel room. The balcony was a sun trap in the morning and large enough to do some yoga looking out to the Acropolis.The property is clean and comfortable with all amenities required for a short stay- toiletries, Nespresso, hairdryer etc. Electric shutters and air con made the stay comfortable and secure. Property is on floor 5,- a small lift serves the building. Bakeries, gyros, supermarkets and a burger joint all in the neighbourhood. Ten minutes on the Metro to Monastiraki area and one hour Metro to the airport. Kato Patisia feels a bit more edgy around the Metro station but the neighbourhood is pretty safe. I definitely recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy a more local experience in Athens.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'appartement de Yanis et Rena. Tout était parfait: propre, sécuritaire, belle terrasse pour manger dehors, tout ce qu'il faut pour faire nos repas, le lave-linge est très apprécié, toutes les installations sont confortables. L'appartement est très bien situé, près de la station de métro et à proximité d'épiceries et d'une patisserie formidable. Je recommande fortement cet hébergement La communication avec Yanis est excellente et il était très aidant si nous avions des questions pendant le séjour. A réserver sans hésiter.

Absolutely wonderful

We stayed at Ma Maison N°1 to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The apartment was beautifully decorated, down to the lighting. Our balcony view of the Acroplis and Lycabettus Hill was especially awesome at night. I also recommend the airport transport service offered by Yannis and Rena. They made our stay in Athens perfect.

Lovely apartment. Very clean and well appointed. Host was super easy to deal with and attentive. Just a bit out of the bustle of the city but only 5 stops from Monasteriaki square to take the metro that is close to the apartment.

Outstanding Apartment

Our hosts were outstanding. The apartment is beautiful and very well equipped. The bed is very firm but every bed in Europe is pretty much the same. Just minutes from the Metro and 15 minutes to Plaka and the Acropolis. We highly recommend the apartment and will stay here again on our next trip to Athens..

Ma Maison in Athens - Home away from Home

This is a beautiful and well kept property, with all the home amenities to make our stay relaxing and stress free. Its on the 4th floor, but no worries the building has a lift. 👍 We ventured in the neighborhood and found it to be safe and easy to get around. The Train/metro station is just a few blocks away from the apartment, was easy to use and get around town. We took train to the Acropolis, Monastirak (shopping) and to Syntagma (saw the changing of the guards). This apartment made our stay in Athens very enjoyable.

Amazing Athens

Yannis and Rena are superstars!! They kept in touch with us, arranged our pick up from the ship port and transport to the airport. The property was beautiful! I couldn't find anything wrong if i tried! The area was clean and i felt safe. Our driver took our luggage in and explained the house while giving a tour. Yannis and Rena have future bookers for life!!

Parfait !!

Appartement à 5 minutes du métro et a 15 minutes du centre d'Athènes. Très bien équipé et très propre, la climatisation fonctionne parfaitement bien (heureusement en période de canicule). Yannis vous commande un taxi pour l'arrivée à l'aéroport et pour le départ. Toujours disponible pour répondre à toutes les questions. Je recommande très vivement !! Merci Yannis !!

I was brought up in this neighborhood. It is a residential area that is very safe with everything that you might need within walking distance(supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shops, fruit markets, traditional Greek restaurants, pharmacies, commercial shops, banks, etc).
While it is central, it is very quiet and safe. The main advantage is that you will need about 15 minutes to get anywhere in the historical centre while you are just 500 metres away from National Road and intercity bus station of Liossion. Through metro network you can go easily from the one side of the city to the other in order to see every corner and aspect of Athens.

-The mosaic floor which was made in 1970 and restored from us shines like a diamond. It is something unique that you can't find anymore and you will be amazed by it's beauty.
-Unique direction of the apartment overseeing east, south and west securing that the natural light is always present.
-Having balconies on the front and back that makes air circulation easy.
-Being in the centre while enjoying calmness, quiet and safety at the same time.
-Having a rich breakfast with a view of Acropolis and Lycabettus on an enormous 30m² front deck.
-Turn on the radio cd, lift the motorised tent and have a drink watching the stars and Acropolis with Lycabettus brightly lighted.
-Privacy is guaranteed as it is the last whole floor apartment of the building on the 5th floor.
