Very Happy Stay

Was extremely happy with this little condo. It was exactly what I needed for a week. Close to anything I needed and short walk to the beach. The stairs did me good the view from balcony was amazing. Will definitely stay again.

Great location and view

We love Oak Island and have stayed many places. Although this condo has 3 flights of stairs to go up the view is great and the deck has a wonderful breeze in the evening! Would stay again!

Post Covid Peace

The property is everything described to be a well as the peace and tranquility that Oak Island has to offer. Don't let the multiunit deter you from this property as everyone on the property is very friendly and the units are very sound proof. A get away you will not be disappointed by.

Amazing family getaway!

We had such an amazing time! Great location on the beach and close to Southport. Cute and quiant condo! We found loads and loads of seashells!

Family Trip

We had a great time at this condo. The weather was not the best but we had a blast! This condo was nice for all our needs. I would highly recommend this unit. Clean, quiet and relaxing beach. Owner was super quick with anything we needed and we will be back.

Peaceful Retreat

We so enjoyed our stay at Casa de Ava. It's on a quiet, private stretch of beach. It's family friendly and parking was plentiful. The owner was wonderful and responsive to us when we had a question. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend! Thanks, Jenn for a great vacation.

Great beach condo

This property had everything we needed for a fantastic beach vacation. The only things which could have been better (which are minor), are that the microwave didn’t spin and the knives were very dull, to the point of being borderline dangerous.

Great beach trip!

We loved staying at the Casa de Ava! The property was just as advertised and the owner was readily available for help. Even though we came in the middle of July, the shared pool wasn't ever so busy that we couldn't enjoy it. The beach access is also very close and it's a wonderful beach to play at. It was also great not having to drive far to the local grocery and several nice dining options - we especially enjoyed the Tranquil Harbor restaurant and Lil & John's Sweetreat Ice Cream Parlor.

Worth the flight of steps :)

Condo was super clean, 2 bedrooms with king size beds in each room. Condo is on the 3rd floor with great views. This was our first trip to Oak Island and we loved it!

Perfect location and condo for our stay :)

We had the most amazing time staying here at this condo! It was the perfect location and provided a peaceful getaway. The condo is an ideal location, situated between the lighthouse, Fort Caswell, Oak Island, and Southport. There is ample to do and great restaurants within easy driving distance. The condo itself was incredibly clean and the perfect size for us. It was an inviting condo with comfortable furniture and tastefully decorated with beach decor. Jenn, the owner, was easy to communicate with, provided us with great recommendations, and was proactive in her communication. We highly recommend staying here for your trip to this area!! The beach was beautiful, too!

Left early due to filth,incorrect review, not to mention the sink hole in front of building.

The outside of the property look nice, and neat. However the inside was very dirty. The bathtub had jets that were full of mold. It had not been cleaned for sometime. I also pick up a piece of human feces from the living room floor. I didn't expect perfection but come on.

Great Stay!

Great location and the condo was lovely. Amenities were awesome. Jenn answered all of our questions in extremely timely fashion. The stairs were a challenge at the beginning of the week but helped us get in shape quickly. Would definitely stay there again.

First Time to Oak Island/Caswell Beach

We went 5/16-5/22. The weather could not have been more perfect. Check in was super easy and the condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Our host, Jenn, was super responsive and very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Family Time

The property was clean and homey. It felt like coming home. The beach was quiet and calm and had very friendly residents willing to chat. It did not feel touristy or cheap but was instead a very nice and calm week for us all.

Excellent Value in Quiet Oak Island

Our family of 3 really enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal - right across from the beach. We loved the view from the patio and everything was as advertised. It was great value for our stay and we really enjoyed exploring Oak Island. Would definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay very much at Casa de Ava

We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying in this perfectly located beach condo. The condo offers everything one could possibly need for a comfortable stay! Jen was available and quick to respond when my husband had a question about getting the cable box to work (operator error). We look forward to staying here again!
