We survived the unnamed potential tropical cyclone #8. Laura kept in touch with us to make sure we were safe. It was quite an experience.

Southport Favorite

Once again, I had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at this waterfront condo. It has some of the best views in town. The place is always very clean and well-maintained with everything needed at the home for an enjoyable vacation. The owners also have great communication . I will definitely book again!

Relaxing and convenient

This place feels like home. Very comfortably furnished and great location. You can walk to restaurants and downtown. Just is fantastic. Very responsive and communicative. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful stay!

We LOVED this waterfront condo! The porch was big and perfect to eat enjoy the water view. There was plenty of space inside with an open lay out. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The other big perk was being able to walk to the waterfront restaurants and ice cream. Kids also loved it too! Woukd definitely come back :)

Beautiful Condo and Location

This is a beautiful condo that the pictures don’t do justice. The view is awesome from the second story, large covered deck. Host is very responsive. Having an elevator is definitely a plus.

Best equipped and clean home we have stayed in.

Location is great ,easy walk to hang out in Southport restaurants and bars.Simple drive to get on Both ferries and local beach’s.Good views of the intercostal ,marine action and lighthouses. Spent 7 nights here and was wanting to stay more.

Pelican Harbor the BEST

If you are thinking about booking…just do it!! The property is awesome, very thoughtful extras….not to mention the views are incredible!! Even better than the photos. Such a great location, close to dining and shopping! We brought our 40lb Husky mix, there are dogs and dog lovers everywhere and he loved it. We had a fabulous stay. Can’t say enough!

Nautical Views

Pelican’s Harbour is a beautiful property! Overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway and Morningstar Marina, it is close enough to walk to restaurants, shops and other attractions in “Downtown historic Southport”. The condo was extremely clean, is well appointed and has everything you need for your stay. We even appreciated the elevator!

Southport with a view

The condo was set up very nice, well equipped, comfortable beds, short walk to waterfront eateries combined with an unbeatable view of Cape Fear River. So relaxing any time of the day out on the deck. Laura and Randy hit all the buttons here.

Best waterfront place to stay in Southport!

This condo has a beautiful view of the waterfront and intracoastal from the 2nd floor deck. Downtown walking (5-10 min) to over a dozen restaurants plus a seafood market. All appliances in perfect working order and practically new. Cookware, dinnerware, utensils best we’ve seen in a VRBO. Three modern large TV’s and internet all working perfectly. Laura and Randy are the best hosts! We will be coming back- our dog Lily insists! We lived in Southport for 11 years. We know this is the best place to stay for a Southport vacation!

Anniversary Get Away

We are so glad we chose this condo for our stay. Loved the deck facing the water. I could stay there for hours. Easy walk to Fishy Fishy and downtown shopping. We enjoyed walking to see the view of the water and Waterfront park. The condo had all we needed. Comfortable bed and furnishings. Super nice Host! We hope to be able to come back to stay here!!

Perfection

The property was perfect with a bunch of extra touches by the host. The king bed was comfy with plenty of blankets and pillows. The living room was roomy with a large TV and open to the kitchen and dining room. The two balconies were large, with great views. And there was even a nice carport and elevator. Within walking distance to everything. HIGHLY recommend.

Perfect Short Stay in Southport

This was our second time staying at this condo. It was spotless and was very well equipped. It is perfectly located, just steps from all the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed sitting on the deck taking in the view and watching the boats. We will be back again!

We enjoy the opportunity to share Southport and this beautiful condo with guests/visitors. We take pride in working to make your stay a positively memorable experience. The beauty of Southport mesmerized us the first time we come over on the ferry many years ago. Our love of the area pulled us back year after year as we dreamed to make Southport our home one day. We were fortunate to acquire Pelican Harbor @ Harborside 12 years ago and have a desire to share the area with others who enjoy the community as much as we do, or are visiting for the first time.
I have a passion for making homemade soaps filled with essential oils, shea aloe butter and exfoliants. We provide guests a few of my soaps to use during their stay. We welcome you to come rest and relax at Pelican Harbor!

The condo’s location is in the heart of Southport. The opportunity to watch the happenings at the Morningstar Marina, views look out towards Old Baldy and the Oak Island lighthouses. You can watch as small boats and large ships move within the water channels. People and dogs walking by and birds flying and/or exploring the marsh provide constant entertainment. Watching the tidal changes within the Salt Marsh and all the boating activity provides a truly relaxing experience. Fishing options are right outside your door including a small public city pier a block away and the city fishing pier about 0.5 miles away. The bird watching opportunities are also amazing. Caswell Beach is just a short drive over to Oak Island, so within a few minutes of leaving the condo you can be walking on the beach next to the Oak Island Lighthouse instead of looking across the water at it. Southport truly is a relaxation destination and Pelican Harbor is a perfect place to take it all in!
