We booked this property on short notice for 14 days. When we arrived, it appeared that the house hadn't been inhabited in a while. The HVAC was off and it was musty. After a day of cycling the AC, the musty smell went away. I attribute all of this to our short notice booking.
We enjoyed the pool, the pickleball court, the amazing view, and the short walk to the beach. All of this was outstanding.
My interactions with the property manager, AMI Locals, were mixed. For some simple matters, they addressed my concerns with quick and friendly responses and fixes, which I greatly appreciated.
There was one significant issue: The spa jets didn't work. I reported this right away. They told me that they would dispatch someone. I called back the next day, no update. I called back the day after that, and they told me that the owner refused to fix the spa jets. I expressed concern because I had booked the property in part for the spa. I asked for some financial accommodation for that, and they told me that I could get passes to a nearby resort and use their pool facility if I wanted.
Then, Blaize from AMI Locals told me that the spa doesn't have jets. I took some pictures to prove her wrong, but she stuck to her position. I feel like AMI Locals decided to lie to me, so they didn't have to act on my request to fix the spa or offer me financial accommodation.
In summary, we loved the house and location, but don't trust the management company/owner.
