We stayed there as family of 3 for a little over 2 weeks.
The Fundamentals: It is an old house, but the owner decorated every room with taste. Very livable. Keep in mind some of the appliance can be dated, such as the oven. But they work.
The Great: The sun room is absolutely awesome, and that is my favorite. I spent days sitting there doing my work. And we spent evenings there. The family room is nice and cozy, and so is the living room. Other rooms are fine. Turkey Creek is the Knoxville shopping district, extremely convenient.
The house is very well stocked with cook utensils, knives, spoons, forks, etc, as well as some of the stuff like paper towels, toilet tissue.
The neighborhood is quiet, and we felt very safe. There is a hospital not far away, and I heard helicopters often while sitting in the sunroom. initially I thought there were some recreational thing, until one day it clicked.
The not so good: Since the house is old, there are age related issues. I did see one cockroach in the night. It didn't scare me, but reminded me to keep food safely stored, and trash well covered. A few minor maintenance issues, especially the front lock can be finicky.
It is slightly more expensive then a 2 bedroom hotel suite. We had positive experience, and would rent the place again if we visit area. It is even a better deal if you have a larger party, since it does have 3 bedrooms.
There were no reviews when we rented the place, so I was a little concerned when I booked unit. Hopefully this will help future renters.
