This traditional seaside getaway features remarkable characterful features combined with country-style decor for a truly unique stay. Kick off walking boots and hang up waterproofs before settling down in the cosy living room. Pillowy seating and an inglenook fireplace are perfect for those post-walk evenings. Potter through into the spacious kitchen and rustle up something tasty for tea. Round up your guests at the table and share a glass or two while admiring the riverfront views. Take the party outside to the patio, where you can spend time catching up or stargazing in this remote area. Rest weary heads in one of the two bedrooms; a romantic double bedroom with an en-suite shower and WC, and a pretty twin with waterside views. When the sun pops up, lie back in the summer sun and take in the coastal breeze while planning your exciting day trip.

While away the hours building sandcastles with the family at a number of highly rated beaches, including Bosahan Cove (1 mile), Porthoustock Beach (6 miles), and Trebah Beach (14 miles). Alternatively, amble through the leafy countryside trails right from your doorstep. Frenchman’s Creek (3 miles) is a delightful circular walk through blankets of (seasonal) bluebells and wild garlic, where you’re bound to see wildlife and take plenty of holiday snaps. Spend time in nature at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary (8.5 miles) or learn about local history at the Poldark Mine 13.5 miles away. Eat out at the pub (0.5 miles) or fill the fridge with delicious goodies bought from the local shop (0.5 miles).
