It’s located less than a mile from the sea, and makes an excellent base for days at the beach, exploring pretty villages and heading out to family attractions.

The cosy lounge includes a choice of seating and a TV and, when you’re ready for a delicious meal, the kitchen/diner is a welcoming space, set over two levels, divided by two steps. The traditionally styled kitchen boasts everything the chef of the holiday will need, including a microwave and a dishwasher, and the conservatory dining area has doors to the garden that you can open in warmer weather for a breath of fresh air. Three charming bedrooms feature more eclectic furnishings, and two of them can be arranged as twins if requested at the time of booking. Do note that there is a step down to the king-size bedroom. All three share a family bathroom with a bath and a shower, and there’s also another, separate WC. The enclosed garden is divided into different areas for you to enjoy: around the fire pit, beneath the pergola and on the decking. There’s private parking for one car, and more available on-street, subject to availability.
Head to the beach at Westward Ho!, just under a mile away, where you can relax on the golden sand, surf or paddle in rock pools, then explore the amusements, pubs and places to eat in town. You’re right next door to the Royal North Devon Golf Club (the oldest course in England), while family attractions within 10 miles include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way and Wake Park.
