Outside, the split-level garden has a lovely patio with ample outdoor furniture and a refreshing hot tub. Private parking is available for two cars.

On-site facilities include a shop and a shared children’s play area, and walkers can follow the river as it stretches through the 7 acres of shared grounds. For a day by the sea, the bustling resort of Bude (2.5 miles) has a wide variety of pubs, cafes and restaurants, as well as some glorious beaches including Summerleaze and Crooklets. Further along the coast, you can visit quieter beauty spots such as Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay and Boscastle – home of The Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, all within 16 miles. Landmarks and attractions inland include Penhallam Manor, Dunsdon National Nature Reserve and Tamar Lakes Activity Centre, all within 8 miles.
