Delightful stay
The lodge is modern, bright and well equipped
It has a main bathroom and separate ensuite with a bath
There is parking at the side
There is a hot tub and the decking overlooks the golf course
The location is mostly quiet although some road noise can be heard from the road behind but the road isn't overly busy and it didn't affect our stay
There is a swimming pool, spa and wellness centre & Gym
There is also a restaurant although we didn't eat in there. We did go to the Thai restaurant (Bamboo Sky) in Bourn which was very good
The location is quite convenient for Cambridge which is why we chose it - about 25/30 minutes drive and there is an hourly bus service.
Would highly recommend this lodge to stay and would go again
An outdoor table and chairs would have been an excellent addition to the lovely decking area.
There is a washing machine but no where to hang wet clothes?
Also there were issues with the gate code (for everyone) getting into the separate complex for our lodges. Fortunately we always managed to get in by climbing through the hedge and operating the gate from the other side. The issue was mentioned to the staff at the reception in the main building.
