If you’re driving, the house provides private off-street parking for up to four cars, and the nearby Edinburgh City Bypass (A720) connects you quickly to all parts of the city, as well as routes north to the Forth Bridges and south towards the Scottish Borders.

For guests using public transport, several regular bus services run from Loanhead and nearby stops directly into Edinburgh’s Princes Street, Waverley Station, and other key destinations. Taxis and ride-hailing services such as Uber are also readily available.

Edinburgh Airport is around 20 minutes by car, making arrivals and departures straightforward for both domestic and international travellers.

Whether you’re commuting for work, heading into the city for sightseeing, or exploring attractions like Rosslyn Chapel, Pentland Hills Regional Park, or Straiton Retail Park, Paradykes House is perfectly placed for convenient travel in every direction.

Paradykes House is a self-catering home. All bed linen, towels, toiletries, and kitchen essentials are provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Check-in is contactless, using a secure key box for easy arrival at any time after the stated check-in hour. Guests will receive a video tour and detailed arrival guide from Juniper Rentals before their stay to ensure a smooth check-in process.

The house has fast Wi-Fi, making it ideal for remote work or streaming, and excellent transport links to Edinburgh City Centre. Please note that the property is set within a peaceful residential area — we ask all guests to respect neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum, especially at night.
