This house did not disappoint. It is an amazing Villa close to the beach and the town. We were a group of 8 and never felt crowded. The kitchen had everything if you wanted to stay in and cook. All the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Extra towels, sand toys, kick boards and a full sized washer and dryer are in a separate room on the side of the house and down a couple of steps. We left all of our snorkeling gear down there instead of bringing it back with us. Bruno (local manager) is the best. Very knowledgeable and quick to respond when you contact him. He was very helpful in arranging our transportation to and from the airport.

Wonderful Stay at Playa del Carmen

It was in a great location, close to the beach and a shopping plaza. Any time I called the managers they were able to quickly answer any questions I had or help us out. They gave us the name of someone who helped book all of our excursions at a great price! There were 12 of us and we had a wonderful vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very close to the beach in a community with security. We made use of private chef services and drivers to take us to and from the airport as well as around the area to shop and socialize. The house manager Bruno was very attentive, responsive and helpful to us. Thank you so much Elenora!

Family Christmas Vacation

Our family had a wonderful time at Casa Passalacqua. Very comfortable house, with bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. Bruno, the property manager, was extremely helpful, from booking our transfers from and to the airport, recommending a chef for a beautiful family dinner together. greeting us upon arrival and answering all our questions. The beach was just a short walk away, maybe 2 blocks, and we loved the beach. Walking to the shops and restaurants was also just a short walk. Thank you, Eleanora, for a great trip!

The best stay ever!

The pictures on VRBO did not do this house justice! We had a great time at the house. It’s a great location near 5th avenue (8-10 minute walk) and the beach (3-5min walk). The pool was so welcoming with the heat. The pool is not heated but it did not matter. The views were spectacular. Bruno was wonderful and always available to help us with anything we needed. If we come again, we will definitely stay again. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else! Thank you Bruno and Passalacqua family for having us. Muy fabuloso!

This house was everything that was listed. It was walking distance to the beach and 5th ave. The house was spacious and comfortable for 5 adults. We loved the pool for late night talk sessions. The house manager Bruno was amazing. He answered all our questions and made sure we got what we needed. If you don't want to walk there are taxi's at the guard station. We loved it here and plan to return.

Wonderful Time In Playa Del Carmen

We were in Playa Del Carmen to celebrate my Birthday with all of my Girlfriend's Family. The house could not have been better to accommodate all 10 of us. It was great to have five bedrooms where everyone felt well taken care of. The property Manager Carlos took great care of us and helped recommend two wonderful cooks that made breakfast for us every morning and a couple of Dinners. The service was exceptional. The location is minutes from town by foot or by car. I would recommend this wonderful property to anyone going to Playa Del Carmen. We had a wonderful vacation!

great for walking

We had 10 in our group, 8 adults and 2 children and we had plenty of room. The house was spacious and worked out perfectly for us. From Phase I you can walk right down to the private beach, into town and 5th Avenue and then in the opposite direction you can walk down to the beach where there is a nearly endless row of high end all inclusive resorts. For anyone debating whether to get a house in Phase I or Phase II, for beach access and the ability to talk places there is no comparison, chose Phase I of Playacar.

Beautiful Home!

We really enjoyed this house. It is beautiful and spacious. The pool is small - more jacuzzi and less pool like. Short walk to the city central and far away enough that it wasn’t loud. There is a security check point before coming into the community so we felt very safe. The beach was just down the road!We had young kids with us so we didn’t spend much time on the upstairs deck but there is a grill there. The house manager is super responsive when we had questions! (I would recommend updating the binder that had all the info since it was outdated.) Otherwise, we loved our week there!

Casa Pasalacqua in Playa

Casa Pasalacqua surely was an amazing experience while in Play del Carmen. We were a family of 12 and we fit comfortably. The house was amazing due to the location to the beach and la Quinta Avenida. We were able to walk or catch a taxi all around the city. Carlos the property manager was readily available to provide anything we needed. The teens loved the pool and the close proximity to the beach. We met a wonderful man named William who booked all of our excursions. We were able to call him anytime and he helped us tremendously. The excursions were out of this world! We will definitely plan another trip to Playa. A big thank you to Eleanora, your house was amazing and to Carlos who was on call 24/7 to give us anything we needed. Your hospitality was much appreciated!

Family week together

First time that we could get together with family. We have been to Mexico any many times so this was the best place. Needed a larger home and it fit the bill. The driver took us to several stores. Skip Sam's club and go to Wal Mart. Closest to an American type grocery store. Carlos suggested several restaurants. Do Not go to La Tarraya. Street people walk in asking for money and selling stuff. Pus they wanted to overcharge us. Be sure to have matches to light the stove and it's not an electric start. And no dishwasher. That was no big deal. Would suggest TV's in all bedrooms. Had 3 teenagers that couldn't "play" games. Internet worked off and on. Nice and clean. Bedding was comfortable. Would stay again

Our week at Casa Passalacqua

The house provided perfect accommodation for 2 couples, one single adult and three grandchildren aged 12 to 17.all with their appropriate privacy and bathrooms. There is comfortable seating everywhere. The location is ideal and private. There was some construction noise during the day as workers were finishing a new condo building behind, The property manager, Bruno, was excellent as he responded quickly to any issues that arose and was very helpful in connecting us with transportation for the family on tourist outings and getting us to and from the airport. He also recommended the service of Laura, a local woman, who we engaged to provide a complete Mexican dinner at the house. It was the best authentic meal we had and we would have hired her again that week if we hadn't left it to the end of our holiday. The only problem we encountered was that many of us had cold showers until we eventually learned that you had to wait almost 2 minutes for the hot water to reach the upper floor rooms. The beach was closer than we anticipated which made early morning beach walks easy. The definite highlight of the house was the pool on the 3rd floor terrace in which we all spent many hours at various times of the days and evenings. We had a great time at Casa Passalacqua. R. Perfect Place For a Family Getaway!

Our family enjoyed a week at this property for Spring Break. We are a group of 3 couples and one baby. The home is spacious and was more than roomy enough for all of us. The baby even enjoyed her own room which was situated across the hall from her parents bedroom. There is a large top deck with lounge chairs, a comfy seating area, and a table with chairs that really isn’t obvious from the pictures in the listing. On that top deck there is a grill as well, which we used a couple of times to grill burgers while looking out on the ocean. The jacuzzi was a great place to relax after sunning on the beach. The jacuzzi is not heated, but that was ok because it provided a cool retreat after a day in the sun. Elenora was quick to respond to all of our questions when booking and her property manager, Bruno, took great care of us when we arrived. He was very quick to respond to all of our texts and went out of his way to provide a high chair and Pack N Play crib for the baby. Bruno also made sure we had plenty of drinking water, which arrived at the front door like magic! The beds were very comfortable and all of the bedrooms had an adjoining bathroom with exception to the bedroom on the main floor. The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe. The closest access to the beach is a short walk away, and maybe a 10 min walk to the 5th ave shopping/ferry area. If we have the chance to visit Playa del Carmen again we would not hesitate to stay at Casa Passalacqua! Perfecto!

Amazing Property with excellent communication

The property was perfect for our family of five and two friends. Bathrooms with four of the bedrooms, and an additional bathroom next to the downstairs bedroom made life much more enjoyable for showering etc. Everyone had their own space. Every rooms has fans and AC that works perfectly. Bruno the property manager has excellent communication, great tips on who to use for excursions, and helps immediately with any issue that arises. The top floor outside is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunsets. The pool level is also nice for hanging out and enjoying the outdoors. The pool is small for a large group but perfect for a few people to hang out in at a time. We loved how close the property is to town. Every day we walked to the edge of fifth street in less than five minutes. The location is excellent! This isn't a high dollar luxury home, it is still a home in Mexico, which we loved. The laundry facility is outside and around the side of the house and down some stairs. We are used to taking our laundry to the laundry place, so for us, this was nice to be able to do our own laundry, but it took me a couple of days to acclimate to having to go outside at all our hours of the day to flip flop laundry. At the end of the two weeks, I didn't think twice about it. You can see the ocean from the top level, which is wonderful. The beach is a two minute or less walk through the neighborhood to a gorgeous spot to be in the water. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Family Vacation! Beautiful Ocean Villa! Perfect spot!

Our family of 8 adults (3 couples & 2 singles) had a wonderful family vacation at Casa Passalaqua. We chose this location carefully based on a lot of must- haves. This luxury beach villa checked all the boxes! 1st was location. The location could not have been better. Playacar is an adorable little neighborhood with unique beautiful, Mexican homes. It’s within a 3 minute walk to the beach, where you can walk for miles in either direction or head into the heart of downtown. There are also a couple of wooded trails that link between neighborhoods & one leads right to the outdoor mall & beginning of 5th Ave. On the trails there are several old ruins that have been preserved & are very interesting to check out! They’re lit up at night. The community is super safe. There are security guards at the gate day & night who escort taxis to the home and patrol the neighborhood on motorbikes. The house is about 45 minutes from Cancun Airport & within 20-30 minutes to so many great sites! One day we walked to the ferry & went over to Cozumel for a snorkeling trip. My uncle went SCUBA diving each morning very nearby, on the recommendation of Carlos. Another day we took taxis to Casa Cenote- a small watering hole where you can snorkel in the mangroves & see interesting fish that live in brackish water. Another day we went to the Hard Rock Resort. Lots of stores, bars & restaurants in the Playa area. 2nd must-have was the perfect house. It’s very comfortable, spacious & beautiful , as in the photos. There could be some minor updates but we really enjoyed the experience. Every morning we had breakfast outside on the patio & enjoyed the wildlife. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking (although the knives need sharpening). Some dish towels were provided but we planned to buy all necessities. In the afternoons we’d have lunch up on the 3rd floor deck & take a dip in the pool (which was also must-have). It was perfect for cooling off in the sun. The bedrooms were all spacious & had comfortable beds. The bathrooms were nice too. We did have some issues with hot water, water pressure & plumbing. Most were fixed promptly. The rooftop deck was the best hang out for playing cards, etc. We didn’t use the very top deck because the spiral staircase made us nervous. But what a great view! Wished the grill was right on the 1st floor patio. Eleanora was a great host, always helpful with info! All in all Casa Passalaqua did not disappoint! We all hope to return again soon

Hi Jill thank you for the lovely review you sent, I really appreciate your feedback. Right after you left I came for a few weeks on vacation in the house in Playa and we did a few small updates in the house like new drapes and other minor things. We fixed the problem with the hot water pressure and the plumbing and now everything works just perfectly. I hope you will come back soon. Thank you Eleonora

Great villa and location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was in a great location and was very clean and well maintained. The owner reached out personally and also had a manager, housekeeper and driver available. We could not have asked for more.
