Rachel, Thank you for such a great review of this property despite the parking issues. This is the first year in rental management that we encountered this problem. The association stepped in quickly to make necessary adjustments by issuing passes based on the number of bedrooms. For example, 1 bedroom units are allowed 1 parking pass, 2 bedrooms are allowed 2, etc. This has alleviated the issues with no parking. The association also has a guard on site to keep those that do not have parking permits off the premises. We do hope that this helps the issues but we can assure each guest that if they will contact our office during their stay, we will jump through all hoops to get our guests in a parking space. Jennifer, Our listing is referring to the actual unit as we have no control over when building maintenance will take place. We are usually notified ahead of time and we pass along every bit of information we are provided to all guests so they hopefully have no surprises during their stay. We are terribly sorry you dealt with construction, however we were never notified of this. The "off" season is when maintenance is always done on every building and property here on the coast. Unfortunately we have no control over pool closures or any other maintenance for that matter, as stated in your arrival information. We hate you feel we did not communicate with you during your stay but we did our best to get as much information we could regarding the situation you were dealing with. As for this unit, it most certainly has been renovated recently with an upgrade to the primary bathroom shower, the fixutres throughout, a new a/c unit, a full kitchen renovation, new living and dining furniture, just to name a few. We understand the building maintenance was the main issue and for that we are terribly sorry, but please understand, that did not have anything to do with us, and was completely out of our control. Jessica, We understand your frustration regarding the parking situation at this property, however the details you share regarding the arrival details are not entirely true or correct. The arrival information states that you will not be able to purchase a 2nd parking pass during "peak season" which is when you were here and occupying this property. This is completely out of our control as the association on site is who makes the rules regarding parking and the ability of how many parking passes each unit is allowed to purchase. We hate you were so upset regarding this rule, however you misread the information you were provided and that is not our fault. As for the items you mentioned regarding the unit itself: we are not entirely understanding why these items were not mentioned to us during your stay when you contacted us so upset regarding the parking pass. We hope you were able to at least enjoy some portion of your stay in this great unit by enjoying the amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico and the new furnishings that are provided in this great unit. We hope you will give us and this great unit another try to come back and take advantage of the discount we offer all returning guests. Jessica, We are so very sorry and saddened by your review. The parking pass situation was a total mishap and although you said it was handled promptly, it sounds like you had to jump through quite a few hoops to get it handled and that is unacceptable. The arrival details that are emailed to each guest has all of our contact info and every number where we can be reached. It is confusing to guests when they book through any third party, that once you are booked, all communication will need to be directly with the management company. The arrival email is also where the details are provided for what is supplied as a complimentary setup, which includes 1 roll of tissue per bathroom, 1 garbage bag per receptacle, a roll of paper towels, a disposable sponge/scrubber, mini soaps, makeup wipes, single use dishwasher detergent, and single use laundry detergent. We apologize greatly for you not receiving this information, or if any portion of the information received was unclear. Last but certainly not least, we are very sorry for the way you were spoken to regarding the communication you received from our office. We have no excuses for why it occurred but can offer a sincere apology. We hope that despite this incident, you were able to enjoy the beautiful beach views this property offers, and also all the entertainment, restaurants, etc. this area offers.
