Beautiful and peaceful propriety. Easy to walk to shops to get bread, charcuterie, etc. Bikes are available to enjoy the "Voie Verte" on the old train track. Easy drive to Beaune and the Côte de Beaune villages. We met Francois the owner a couple of time. He was super nice and he shared one of the bottles from his property with us. Highly recommended!

Beautiful gîte!

Highly recommend for the location and the gîte. The rental is beautiful with lots of special touches. The town of Nolay is charming and is an easy walk from the house. We would go back!

Excellent stay!

Our group was 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) and the layout fit us perfectly. All rooms clean, nice kitchen, big dining tables inside and outside, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, good wifi, large garden, quiet area in town but only a short walk to the center and bakery. Hosts were responsive and friendly. Francois gave us a private tour of his cellar and arranged a tasting of his wine that we enjoyed. Lots of explore in that area. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Fabienne and Francois's rental property in Nolay was excellent. The house was modern, spacious and well-equipped. Nolay is a beautiful medieval town with an outstanding patisserie a few minutes walk from the house. It is an excellent location for biking and hiking among the hills and vineyards, and for exploring Burgundy's towns and wine country. Francois, a wine maker, greeted us with a bottle of his excellent pinot. He also invited us to a wine tasting in his cellar, located in the house which has been in his family for generations. Idyllic setting and home surrounded by gardens and stone fences

Property was perfect for our Family. Our Grandchildren are 4 and 6 so having space to play and explore was wonderful. The house has been beautifully restored but the original components are maintained. Bikes, balls and other toys were supplied. The daily 5 minute walk to the local patisserie for still warm pastries was exciting! The kitchen is well set up for meal prep.The town itself is beautiful and close to numerous villages. One is in the heart of wine country with numerous trails nearby. Our host was extremely busy so there was not much time to talk with and learn from him. He did respond adequately by removing the dishwasher when it broke down early in our stay and he organized a requested wine tasting just before our departure. There is excellent tourist info in the house for guests. This was a perfect place for our Family reunion.

True Gem!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Nolay! Just to clarify, this place is not a cottage, but really a rather large house. One of the best parts of the stay were the incredible hosts! They are very non-intrusive, but yet super helpful and friendly. The property is very spacious, certainly big enough for 2 families to share, so we had absolutely no issues with just the four of us (two adults and our two children). The backyard is enormous and is a children's paradise, but yet is enclosed and very safe, so the adults can hang out in the house while the kids are enjoying the yard, which is complete with a swing set and other amenities, both adult and child friendly. The husband runs his own vineyard, so we got a very private tour of the vineyard and his winery. We ended up comparing his wines to some Premier Crus of the regions, and, to be honest, his wines are certainly on par! The village has several dining options, including an amazing gastronomic restaurant on par with many Michelin star meals we had in the region, two bakeries, a butcher, and a market, all within a few minutes walk. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We had an amazing time!

Unglaublich, dass Sie mein Geld genommen haben ohne dass die Buchung beim eigentlichen Anbieter bestätigt war!Zum Glück hat der lokale Anbieter eine gute Alternative gefunden und wir mussten nicht wieder nach Hause.

Notre séjour a été très agréable. L'intérieur est très bien aménagé, offrant tout le confort nécessaire pour se sentir comme chez soi. Le jardin est spacieux et très agréable. Le propriétaire est très sympa, toujours à l'écoute de nos demandes et prêt à répondre à nos besoins avec une grande réactivité. En conclusion, un super séjour.

On s'y sent vraiment bien

Tout est réuni pour un excellent séjour : accueil sympathique du propriétaire, gîte spacieux très bien entretenu et décoration cosy, vaste jardin ensoleillé avec des zônes ombragées à toute heure. Plusieurs vélos en bon état sont à disposition et il y a une voie verte tout près pour de jolies balades faciles à pied ou à vélo. On peut recommander ce gîte sans réserve pour une découverte de la Bourgogne.

Ce gite est vraiment génial. Le gite - Spacieux, lumineux, bien chauffé et doux, très bien équipé... la déco est très sympa et personalisée. Les lits - très agréables et bien équipés... matelats de qualité, sur matelats pour certains lits, des oreillers et duvets au top les environs - très bien localisé dans Nollay et pas loin de Beaune, le gite est vraiment un superbe pieds à terre pour visiter la région Les hotes - une communication sympathique, claire et amicale. un grand merci pour ce superbe séjour

Excellent accommodation

This was one of the best overall rental experiences we have had in France. The house is spotless and correct in every way. The property is beautiful and spacious giving plenty of room for children to play safely outdoors and so quiet and peaceful for a relaxing holiday. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We would recommend this location to anyone looking to visit the Burgundy area Francois gifted us an excellent bottle of his wine and it was enjoyed by all. Our daughter and her husband did a wine tasting with Francois and we bought a few bottles to take home. Morning walks up in the vineyard directly behind the property was one of our favourite activities along with bike rides utilizing the bicycles provided. The town of Nolay is within a short walk with an excellent grocery store, a few restaurants, boulangeries, and other necessities. I would love to come back again someday. Kim Brooks

Superbe gite

Superbe gite dans un beau village bourguignon idéalement placé. Le gite est agréable, on s'y sent immédiatement chez soi. L'espace de vie est avec son haut plafond donne envie d'y passer du temps avec des amis/famille, l'espace nuit est adapté pour un (petit) groupe d'amis ou 2 famille. Le jardin est grand et invite à passer du temps dehors avec les beaux jours. Je recommande vivement.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es liegt traumhaft ruhig direkt an den Weinbergen und hat einen herrlichen, parkähnlichen Garten. Wir waren mit Großeltern und erwachsenen Kindern für eine Woche dort und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Vermieter Fabienne und Francois Bergeret sind sehr nett und unkompliziert. Nolay liegt sehr günstig für Ausflüge zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten im Burgund. Im Ort gibt es alles Notwendige mit kurzen Wegen: Bäcker, Supermarkt, Tankstelle, Restaurants.

Excellent week in Burgundy

Spacious, well equiped house in Nolay, close to Beaune. Privacy!!! Very quiet location with nice view on the vineyards! Supermarket within 5 min by car. Medieval centre of Nolay in walking distance. Had perfect week!

Bonne situation pour découvrir la Bourgogne

Maison propre et spacieuse, au calme, très bien située dans un charmant village avec un cœur médiéval, à proximité des commerces. Nous étions 6, chacun a trouvé sa place. Les hôtes sont accueillants, et savent rester discrets tout en restant disponibles. Ils proposent une les vins de grande qualité.

This is a beautifully converted gite attached to the owners home. It is modern, well appointed and very clean. Would be suitable for two couples or a family. Caters well for children. Nolay is a quiet small town will several restaurants, bakers, butcher etc all five minute walk away. Beautiful part of Burgundy with lots of walking and cycling.

Entspannung pur

Wir haben in Nolay eine entspannte Woche verbracht. Das Haus und die Umgebung haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Es stehen Fahrräder zur Verfügung mit denen wir schöne Touren gemacht haben. Über die Bahntrasse kann man ganz bequem an den Canal du Center fahren um dort Picknick zu machen Beaune ist schnell zu erreichen und auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und ihr Wein lecker. Zu Begüßung gab es frische Blumen und eine Flasche Wein. Für einen entspannten Urlaub ist es eine gute Wahl. Gerne kommen wir wieder.
