The Mill Haven complex, is housed in a traditional Cycladic windmill, and located in the picturesque village of Oia, overlooking the caldera and boasting glorious views to the Santorini panorama.
Housed in a traditional Cycladic windmill, The Mill Haven offers impressive views to Oia’s caldera cliffs, the beautiful sunset and the picturesque village with its blue-domed churches. It follows the classic island architecture and is designed with all the modern amenities. Spanning to two floors, the Mill Haven is comprised of two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, that come with KORRES bath amenities, and is also equipped with a kitchen featuring an electric ceramic cooker and a microwave.

excellent stay

My family (husband and two college age kids) stayed at the Mill Haven for six nights. It was wonderful! The location is perfect, the view is stunning and Evelyn was very accommodating. There is ample outdoor area to enjoy the beautiful weather and views. I would definitely recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We traveled here with another couple. Evelyn met us at the unit, and provided us with necessary information. She responded very quickly throughout our stay from booking catamaran cruise, advising on a rental car, booked in/out of the airport transportation, and even the Wi-Fi. She deserves a 5-star. The unit was just a few minutes walk to the main Oia shops and restaurants. It was clean and comfortable.

Awesome Cave / Windmill House in Oia

Our family of 4 had an excellent time in Oia staying at the Mill Haven! The house was great! Super clean, super comfortable, hot showers, cold AC, TV’s with Netflix in the bedrooms, good WiFi, separate suites gave some privacy and still felt safe with our teenagers staying in the wind mill tower. Amazing views in all directions. It is a one minute walk to a store and restaurants one direction and about a 2 minute walk the other direction to the start of the main Oia village! SUPER convenient, yet far enough away from the main walking strip to be quiet and peaceful. Great veranda with hot tub (didn’t need the heat, so used it as a mini pool to relax) for coffee or drinks while soaking up the views, sunsets and sunrises! Host was very helpful as well! Highly recommend this home! We loved it!

Great property - but at the price, stuff needs to work and be in serviceable condition. I understand it was peak season, but we found umbrella broken, some outdoor chairs mouldy, no bottle opener and the shower not draining. Also no instructions for spa operation. While contact/comms with Evelyn was outstanding and the team was very responsive, I had higher expectations of amenities at the property and didn’t expect to have to make multiple requests for assistance, given the more than €600 a night tariff

beautiful view of caldera

We stayed in this property for 4 nights. We were intrigued by the windmill house. The property is beautiful and was fairly clean with high quality indoor and outdoor furniture. Communication with property manager was excellent. She responded immediately to issues we had. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linens. The 2nd bedroom is up a spiral staircase so not ideal for guests with mobility issues. But it was neat to stay in the windmill tower. We did not get to enjoy the amenities of the property for few reasons. They were being addressed by the property manager and hopefully future guests can enjoy. One note to those who are light sleepers, bring your ear plugs. The house is right on a busy road. As other reviews noted, there is a lot of traffic during the day and into the evening. It does slow down after late night, but you can still hear the road noise. With that said, we had no trouble sleeping with ear plugs. It is within 10 minutes walking distance to start of Oia walkway with all the restaurants and shops.

Le service de conciergerie ( Evelyn) est top réactif !tout est très propre et en même temps très salissant ( béton ciré blanc !), c'est un peu humide si l'on n'utilise pas la climatisation et le coin cuisine n'est pas vraiment prévu pour cuisiner vraiment ... mais superbe endroit très original, qualité des lits ++++
