This was a terrific location and condo. It was a great size and had everything we wanted. The hostess had a very informative brochure and answered all questions quickly. The beach, as advertise, was small. However, there were chairs and umbrellas, and very few people there. There were also paddle boards and kayaks, which was really cool. We never watched TV on vacation, so I cannot comment on that.

1 week stay

Clean and comfortable. Pool was very nice and snorkeling off the property beach was good. 7 mile beach as a whole has eroded so beach walking was not an activity for us. People at the complex were friendly and from multiple different countries which made visiting fun. Many good restaurants within walking distance and buses were easy to navigate. Exchange rate made for an expensive vacation but it was beautiful.

Relaxation in Paradise

What a spectacular place to stay in the Cayman Islands. Centrally located to almost everything, this condo offered everything you wanted/needed while vacationing in the islands. The owner was super helpful and communications were always open to any question that came up. We are going to definitely come back for another stay in the near future. The pools were an added plus, but the paddle boards/kayaks that were always available were something we will always remember. And the room itself provided everything we were hoping for AND MORE!

Perfect condo for 4 people!

Great property with two amazing pools and a screened in porch perfect for relaxing without any bugs! Was very quiet around the condo area, never had to worry about claiming a chair at either pool. The hosts were very responsive and the condo was even better than we'd hoped (looks a little outdated in the photos, but it isn't!). Perfect amount of space for four people. Walking distance to many restaurants, but you'll want to rent a car to see the island and travel to beaches. All of the host recommendations were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!!

Convenient Location near restaurants and 7-mile Beach

We enjoyed our 1-week stay at the Plantation Village. This was our first time to Grand Cayman, so didn't know what to expect. The condo was clean and well-stocked with kitchen items and toiletries. There were two nice pools that were often quiet. We really enjoyed our screen porch that overlooked the pool area. The condo was within walking distance of many restaurants. It would be a longer walk to the grocery store. We had a car, but one could definitely get by without one. There were two beach chairs and a few toys and inflatables. As noted in the description, there is not much of a beach at the condo. We drove daily to the Governor's Beach a few miles away. There are paddleboards, kayaks, and bikes at the property, but were in need of some updating. Overall, it was a great property for the price and location, but if you want to be directly on a nice swimming beach, this would not be the place.

Amazing stay at Plantation Village

It was myself, my wife and 3 kids; 10, 11, and 13. The room was PERFECT. 2 beautiful bedrooms. 2 bathrooms. Kitchen was perfect. The pools were excellent. The only thing that’s negative is the beach. But that’s erosion for ya. Location is great near 7MB

Wonderful, well equipped condo

We loved the condo. The ladies couldn't stop talking about the decorating and we found the location to be perfect for our excursions. The only knocks we could see were facility issues. There are 2 pools, but the beach is virtually nonexistent, there was no hot tub, and although there were a few designated handicapped parking spaces, facility management doesn't seem to enforce them... we had to walk much further most days due to an individual WITHOUT any visible tag taking the nearest handicapped space.

Beach trip with kids

What a great first international trip with with 6 and 8 year old! The condo had everything we needed, it was clean, well equipt and close to 7mile beach. The pools were lovely! The beach was great for snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding. We did rent a car but you could walk to 7 mile beach. Thank you Tai for a wonderful stay!

Great Grand Cayman stay

This place is centrally located to downtown and Seven Mile Beach. It was nice to be able walk to restaurants and coffee places in the area. The paddle boards we an added benefit. My wife and daughter used them almost every day.

Great Value!

Great place / value for families. Very comfortable spacious two bedroom two bath with balcony with pool view. Great amenities including coolers in the unit, beach chairs, tennis racquets, outdoor grills, Netflix and Prime, full kitchen, bikes, etc. (beware there is NO hot tub but there are two pools). Apparently most of the beach was washed out recently but there is enough beach to be able to layout on the beach. The beach is no longer connected to Seven Mile beach so you walk (about 15 minutes along the side walk or drive 2 minutes) to a beach entry point for Seven Mile beach. Over all great value and great for families. Money we saved on hotel cost we spent on activities and restaurants. win win. Enjoy!

Nice place

The unit was fine and grounds well kept. They had a major storm 3 weeks ago or so and there is really no connection to 7 mile beach. You can easily walk in the side walk about 3 blocks and then cut in. Lots of public access to the beach for easy. Note the pull out couch needs a repair of sorts which worked for us but should be addressed. They had a a cooler and water toys etc which was a plus. AC is to be no colder than 74 which was ok with ceiling fans but would have preferred a bit cooler for sleeping. Nice unit over all on the second floor facing the pool.

Stay at Plantation Village

Overall the property was nice and spacious and included everything we needed for our stay including a small cooler and floaties. The grounds were kept pretty clean. The unit itself was not very clean and I had request for cleaning. There was dust on the floor, trash on the back of the murphy bed, and animal dropping on the plantation shutters. Some of the furniture were outdated and there was a cracked mirror wall. We aldo had several issues with access to the door and sink water stopper. It took maintenance several calls and requests to fix the issues. The description of the property particularly the beach is not accurate. It's tiny and has lots of rocks that make it hard to enjoy.

Good location and good value.

Nice property overall for the price we paid. Some kitchen appliances were not the best and the bikes, kayaks and paddle boards were a little rough but we made good use of them. I think they should charge a small fee for use of that stuff to help pay for the maintenance and improvements of the equipment. Just my two cents

7-Mile Perfection

This condo is beautiful - impeccably clean and well stocked, beautifully decorated, great location, two beautiful pools, all made for a great vacation. We loved the location, convenient to great restaurants and shopping and very easy access. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for a first time visit to island

The property was clean and just as described in the listing. The property owner was helpful and patient, trying to organise the trip for our guests and even gave us a tour beforehand, to check that it would work for us. Great location, central to all amenities in the area with lovely pool areas and a small section of beach. Thank you for everything.

Plantation Resort condo.

We had a great trip, the accommodation was exactly what I had hoped for and I would highly recommend the 2 bedroom condo that we stayed in. The property itself was well kept, the only thing I would say is that the beach in front of the property was a little small and stony but we had a rental and was able to go to Governor beach which is beautiful.

Nice property

Nice, quiet location yet convenient to everything happening on Seven Mile beach. The reef in front of the property had decent snorkeling and kept my water loving family entertained. The beach area is small but there was no problem getting a spot to lounge.

We are from a small town in the Black Hills of South Dakota and enjoy traveling. It seems we always gravitate toward warm climates and for the last 25 years the Cayman Islands have been our favorite place in the sun to make memories with our family. We love the sandy beaches, the warm ocean water to snorkel and dive and try to never miss a spectacular sunset on the beach. It is a magical place for ourselves, our kids, and now our grandchildren. We love to share our little slice of paradise with others.

We fell in love with the Cayman Islands 25 years ago and have stayed at many different properties along 7 mile beach. We were drawn to Plantation Village because of it's sparkling Caribbean water, which we can snorkel in right off of our own beach, the friendly atmosphere of the resort, the many amenities which are within walking distance.

Our daughter was married on our beach in 2012 and we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here in 2015. We treasure the opportunity to share this magical place with friends and family.
