A comfy temporary home while looking for something permanent during winter 2026. You can’t beat the proximity to beautiful Good Harbor Beach which my dog loved. Mike was a great host, making sure all the snow was shoveled. Must be glorious in the summer !

Perfect House to enjoy Gloucester & Rockport!

Perfect size house for our family to enjoy a weekend walking the beach, shopping in Rockport. Easy walk or short drive to Good Harbor Beach, grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants. Michael was quick to reply to texts. Check in and check out of house easy, back yard set up for relaxing, highly recommend.

Thanksgiving Week Stay

Stayed with my husband and 19 year old son for Thanksgiving week. House has an amazing location and we enjoyed walking to Good Harbor Beach. House was clean and well stocked. We would stay here again.

Great beach house

We enjoyed our week at this beach bungalow. The property is just as described. The location is ideal, the backyard is a wonderful respite at night and the outdoor shower was a win after days in the ocean.

Perfect spot!

This was the perfect spot for our Christmas week, particularly for the location near other family (and if in summer, perfect as it is so close to the beach). The large kitchen and living room in an open floor plan was perfect for a bunch of adults and three small kids to gather. Very friendly and communicative owners. Would definitely stay again.

Great location -cute sweet comfy house!

Stayed with family. This is so close to the beach and central to so much that this area has to offer!! Near stores and restaurants so food was convenient. The shared space in the house and outside to gather and enjoy our time was perfect. All amenities were as noted and the outside shower with hot water was so convenient and kept everything sand and salt free!!

i found that the house wasn't as presented the advertised photos the carpet was stained furniture shabby non working lamp in bedroom no knob to turn on waterstained walls kitchen had bugs/ants had to keep everything in cooler or fridge cookware burnt and gross patio furniture pillows all ripped in all not at all pleased

Fun Gloucester trip!

Great property! Very clean, nice space inside with beach theme! Walk to good harbor beach and lots of stores close by! Rockport was only about 10 minutes away, great spot! I’d definitely rent again! 😀

Wedding weekend

It was a great place! Perfect location! Very close to our wedding venue at the elks! Big island And kitchen was perfect for getting hair and make up with the bridesmaids! Bonus that my dog was able to come for our special weekend!

Girls weekend

My sisters . Mom and daughter have been g do meeting in Gloucester for a girls weekend go or years. We used this house for the first time this year.?This house’s proximity to Good Harbor is by far its best feature .

Bring your own smoke detector

I rented the property for the month of March, but left after two weeks when I discovered that the only smoke detector was mounted to the ceiling with no batteries, and due to a jammed battery door, none could be inserted. Whoever remounted it, knew this. After I left, owner insisted it was hard-wired, but it absolutely was not. A non-working smoke detector is bad enough, but the oven tripped a breaker when turned on, and a haird tripped a breaker. Each time, it was the sole appliance being operated.The front storm door is locked and cannot be opened due to a broken latch. Some windows either have no locks or a jammed shut and can’t be opened. The master bedroom lamp cannot be turned on due to a broken toggle switch. Carpets need shampooing, furniture is old and worn. Sofa is ripped. I left because I no longer felt safe due to the unstable electricity, blocked exits via some windows or front door (only one opened), and no working alarm. The owner denied all of this while on the phone with VRBO.The dishwasher seal was not working, so the first night I used the dishwasher, the kitchen flooded with what seemed to be the entire amount of water flowing through it. I reported it to the owner over and over and he never sent a repairman to fix it in the two weeks I was there. I had to put three large bowls and a beach towel to contain it.I had to go out and buy wine glasses (there was one red glass one) and coffee cups or drink out of novelty store oddball cups.The

Cute and cozy

This was a nice place to stay if you are out and about most of the time. There was all the utensils and linens you would need. Bedrooms are a little small, but worked for our group of 8 people.

Girls trip to Salem

We were a group of 7 and this property suited us nicely. Location was great as we were able to explore not only Salem, but Gloucester and Rockport as well. Owners were quick to respond with any questions we had .

A great visit with family

The house was great for our needs. We had great weather and spent most of our time there out in the yard or at the beach. The property backs up to the marsh and it was fun to watch the bird activity. It is a short walk to the beach which was nice and felt like we were off the busy routes.
