Ideal for couples or solo travellers, this accommodation features a practical open-plan layout. The living area is equipped with a small sofa, a TV and a round dining table, receiving plenty of natural light, with classic shutters to ensure a good rest.

The compact and functional kitchenette is practical for preparing quick and light meals. In addition to basic crockery and cutlery, it has a microwave and a small induction hob to assist you in your day-to-day.

The sleeping area is perfectly integrated into the space and is equipped with a comfortable double bed, along with a clothes rack to help you organise your belongings.

The bathroom has all the amenities, including towels and toiletries for your convenience.

The space is always professionally cleaned.

Access to the accommodation is exclusively via stairs and is not suitable for people with reduced mobility!

Located on the iconic Rua de Santa Catarina — Porto's most famous and vibrant artery — this accommodation sits in the northern part of the street, very close to the charming Praça do Marquês. The energy of the neighbourhood is an invitation to live like a true Portuense. Benefiting from a more residential and tranquil atmosphere compared to the tourist epicentre, this area buzzes with authentic local life. Step outside and you'll easily find traditional bakeries, cosy neighbourhood cafés and local shops, guaranteeing charming mornings and relaxing evenings.

The magic of this address is that the Historic Centre literally unfolds at your feet. Just start walking down the street for a discovery-filled stroll. Within minutes, you'll reach the stunning Capela das Almas (world-famous for its blue azulejo façade), the renovated and fragrant Mercado do Bolhão and the historic Café Majestic. From there, the most iconic attractions — such as the imposing Avenida dos Aliados, the Torre dos Clérigos, São Bento Station and the medieval alleyways leading to the Ribeira and the Douro River — are just a short and fascinating walk away.

As well as being an excellent urban retreat, this location is a fantastic strategic base for exploring Northern Portugal. With the Marquês Metro Station just a few steps away, you have a direct and fast connection to the main train stations (São Bento and Campanhã). This makes it incredibly easy to plan day trips: you can immerse yourself in the history of Guimarães, marvel at the baroque splendour of Braga, stroll along the scenic canals of Aveiro or embark on one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world towards the Douro Wine Region (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

The property is located on the iconic Rua de Santa Catarina, in the heart of Porto, with excellent public transport connections.

Metro: The nearest metro station is Bolhão (Yellow Line/D), just 3 minutes on foot. Trindade station (Lines A, B, C, E, F) is also about 7 minutes on foot and provides connections to the whole city, Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport and the coastal line.

Buses: Several STCP routes serve the area, including stops near Rua de Santa Catarina and Avenida dos Aliados.

Taxi/Uber: Easily available throughout the central Porto area.

Airport: Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is approximately 25–30 minutes by car or around 40 minutes by metro (Line E – Purple, from Trindade).

This is a self check-in property and you will be asked to verify your identity before being able to check in to the apartment (15:00).

We ask all guests to fill in a registration form which will be sent after booking confirmation, in accordance with the legal obligations stipulated by the local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been violated (e.g. smell of tobacco, ash, cigarette butts, etc.), we reserve the right to charge a fee of at least €200 EUR.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair usage policy for utilities will apply with a limit of €80 included.

For the first days, we provide the following basic amenities: small containers of shower gel, shampoo and soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dish soap and a bin bag.

Extra keys: €20 (extra set when possible, lost keys or door opening service).
Extra cleaning: price of one cleaning fee.
Extra linen: €30 (towels and sheets for 2 people, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
