Ruthin is town resting on a hilltop in North Wales, resting north of Llangollen and surrounded by beautiful rural scenery. Ruthin's attractive half-timbered buildings can mostly be found around St Peter's Square along with interesting shops and buildings, along with tearooms and pubs. Walkers and cyclists can delight in the excellent walking in the Dee Valley, mountain-biking on the Horseshoe Pass and trips to the scenic riverside town of Llangollen.
