The house was very cute and clean. We had everything we needed for our stay. It was a very easy walk to downtown so we didn't have to drive anywhere after we arrived. I would stay again if I revisit Galena.

We had a group of women celebrating a 50th birthday! This place has the cutest decor, plenty of room, and the location could not be any better! I will be staying here again!!

A perfect Galena getaway

This property is in the perfect location for visiting downtown Galena. It’s an easy walk to everything on Main Street and to the Depot and Belvedere Mansion. The pictures of this house don’t do it justice! It’s beautifully designed and well appointed. Street parking was very convenient.

Good location

Great location, great communication with owner. Upstairs could use better temperature control. Parking right out front ( little crowded during the day). Definitely an older, vintage semi-updated, quirky home, lots of ins and outs & ups and downs

Had an awesome stay for my sister’s bachelorette party! We had plenty of room for 8 girls to stay and it was clean and had plenty of towels for everyone with toiletries. The back porch was super cute and spacious. It is in the perfect location to walk up and down the Main Street of galena. No private parking- only street parking. We didn’t have trouble getting spots for everyone over the weekend but there are parking restrictions during the week.

Group Getaway

We were a group of 4 couples and had the most enjoyable weekend in Galena and staying at our spacious yet cozy home. Perfect location just outside the entrance to downtown. Spacious deck to socialize, cozy and comfortable rooms and beautiful and creative decor throughout the home. The home had everything you needed and the heated floors were a bonus! Would definitely stay again.

Great location!!

We loved our family weekend in Galena with our adult children and their + 1's. The location of this property was perfect. Everything we did was within walking distance. Property manger was easy to work with.

Charming and spacious getaway

We had a group of four women who stayed here for a girl’s weekend. The view of the river was lovely - we had a peaceful coffee on the front porch both mornings we were there. The home was also in close walking proximity to downtown, so once we arrived and parked, we really didn’t need to drive anywhere. We liked the house’s character and eclectic style. since we had the whole house, there was a kitchen on both the first floor and second floor, which meant extra fridge space. That is always a bonus. However, the house itself could use some updates: it was a hot summer weekend and it took a long time for the house to cool off (especially the second floor). There were fans in almost every room, which definitely was helpful. Additionally, a few simple extra cleaning steps (lots of cobwebs on the ceiling), repairs, and replacements (like the main floor bathmat) could go a long way. Outside of those things, the stay was lovely.

Awesome Aunts/Cousin Crew Girls Trip

Our group included four sisters and our four adult daughters. We had an amazing time shopping, dining, and doing the distillery tour. The location of the house is a PERFECT walking distance to the Main Street shops and restaurants.

Perfect location

Charming house. The kitchen is on the smaller side for a bigger group but it worked for us! Location is perfect! Host is super responsive.

Born and raised near Galena, I moved to Chicago, but then rediscovered the beauty of Galena later in life. Eventually I made my permanent home here. I love outdoor sports and found a gem of a playground for outdoor sports in the greater Galena area. Because of its beautiful rolling terrain and the river that runs through it, Galena is a great destination to bike, paddle, run, ski and hike. I can share my knowledge of all outdoor places to go and the hidden jewels around the area. Just ask me.
I've been a rental host since 2017 and I manage a few properties. I do this for a living and so it's my priority to ensure that you have a comfortable stay and that you're completely happy, when you've chosen my homes.

My home is newly remodeled and in an ideal location. On the south end of Main street (quiet end that is), and less than a block from downtown shops, bike path, and boat landing. The bonus is a gorgeous river view. The river is located just across the street.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What makes Fever River View is unique is that you can sit on the rockers on the porch with a lovely view of the Galena river, or you may sit on a large new back deck and grill out. It's the only home on main street that has both options and yet is in close walking distance to everything downtown. Another benefit, is that it's located on the quiet end of main street, just far enough away from the loud bars and nightlife.
