Welcome aboard "The Nautical House", located downtown historic Galena, IL and just footsteps from unique shopping, delicious eats and endless activities and experiences!
Anchor yourself and enjoy a picturesque front porch view of the Galena River or wine down on the private back deck complete with an outdoor grill. The eclectic and unique, nautical themed cozy interior invites you to spend your days relaxing in your home-away-from-home. The master bedroom and guest room, located on the second floor, offer full-sized sleeping accommodations along with 1.5 bath and laundry room. The both bedroom and living room are equipped Smart TVs connected to WiFi for you to login into your Netflix or other streaming subscriptions.
Enjoy a meal with your group, cooked in the well-equipped kitchen which includes a refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave where you can prepare home-cooked dishes or make your way downtown Main Street to enjoy what Galena has to offer. The front porch or back deck, equipped with a gas grill, are perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening glass of vino. Don't stress about parking - "The Nautical House" has two private guest parking spaces for your vehicles - reserved just for you (private parking not available during the snow season).

Cute and cozy home, great location! Walking distance to all the cute shops and restaurants. Went for a girls trip and had the best time. Tip: park in front first to drop off baggage and then find private parking in the back.

The house had everything we needed. It was uniquely decorated with a nautical theme. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch people watching and seeing the park across the channel. Great place overall.

Vintage charm

It was a wonderful stay. A short walk to all the restaurants! Great views of galena. Just need a little upgrade in the beds, but other than that it was clean and cozy! We definitely will stay there again!!!!!

Perfect location

Great location downtown Galena

Very historical nautical themed house right downtown Galena. Check in was easy and walking to 110 shops and restaurants was very nice.
