良かった点 : 清潔度、チェックイン、ロケーション
I’ll start with the good and explain the bad at the end.The room was basic and clean and a fine size for one person. The en-suite bathroom was good overall. The shower was a good size and the bathroom itself was decent sized. Access to a kitchen area was a definite plus.Some of this comes with a caveat, given the heat and the fact that I know many places in England DON’T have air conditioning. The listing indicates access to a “full house.” Yes there was a kitchen, but it had no table or chairs to sit at or eat at. And no other space to sit in than my room. My room was on the 2nd level and extremely hot. I understand the caveat as mentioned above. I had a window, that had no screen, on the east side I think and gave zero breeze. The owner had no fan and claimed he could not find one in any store. Friends I was visiting told me such was not the case. I was taking cold showers twice a day to cool down. One of the days the shower was off because the electrician working on other parts of the house had turned it off at the breaker. The last two nights the window would not stay open because it was loose in the frame, I had to prop it open with an umbrella.It is clear the host is still working on the house with the materials in a back room off the kitchen and in the back yard, it just wasn’t quite ready. My advice if staying summer, ask about a fan upfront and see if work is still being done. And find out if the window will stay open.
