Laik are delighted to present Nearmere, just a two minute walk from Lake Windermere and an eight minute stroll to the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, a bustling town with plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs to choose from. Nearmere is a comfortable, family friendly and well-positioned base for exploring one of the Lake District’s most loved locations and even has some views of the Lake from the property.
Nearmere is arranged over three floors:-
Ground Floor:
Entrance to the rear through the garage and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Twin bedroom, ideal for kids, with large fitted wardrobe.
Shower room with WC, basin and heated towel rail.
Reading area in the hall.
Step outside to the front of the property where you will find a patio area with table and chairs, please be aware this has a low wall and the road into Bowness is on the other side of this.
First Floor:
The open-plan light filled living space is designed for laid-back mornings and slow evenings. A stylish, modern fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need, from oven and hob to toaster, microwave and coffee machine, while the dining area comfortably seats your whole group for sociable family mealtimes. The living area completes the space with comfortable sofas and TV. The balcony off the living space has views towards Lake Windermere and a small table and chairs, ideal to sit and enjoy your morning coffee.

Second Floor:
There are three thoughtfully designed bedrooms on this floor.
Master bedroom to the front of the house with views towards Lake Windermere has a king size bed, and large fitted wardrobe.
En-suite shower room to master bedroom with shower, basin, wc and heated towel rail.
Two further doubles on this floor both with fitted wardrobes, one has a permanent wooden cot (bed linen not supplied)
Family bathroom with bath, separate large walk in shower, basin, wc and heated towel rail.
Soft bed linen, towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided, so you can settle in straight away.
Secure garage space with free to use Out`n`About three wheeled all terrain buggy (at your own risk), and ideal space for bikes storage, or even a kayak!
Worried about parking? Don`t be. Allocated parking to the rear of the house for 2 cars look out for the sign on the wall for `12a Belsfield Court` Parking Plaque. You can park here and in front of the garage or inside the garage as long as there is room for other people to get through.

For those travelling further, Windermere station is a 10 minute car drive away and Oxenholme Lake District railway station is about 30 minutes away by car. From here, you can catch direct trains to London, Glasgow, Manchester, and more. If you`re arriving by train, you can hop on a local bus or take a taxi to get to the property.

The house is set across multiple levels, which may not suit guests with limited mobility.
Parking is available for two cars.
Being centrally located in Bowness-on-Windermere, you’re just moments from the lake and village, so there may be some gentle background activity during busier periods.
The property is located in a residential area, so we kindly ask guests to be respectful of neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, especially in the evenings.
This is a thoughtfully designed family home, and we kindly ask guests to treat it with care and respect. It’s best suited to families and groups looking for a relaxed, comfortable stay rather than parties or loud gatherings.
