Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have stayed at the Palm Bay Club for many years. The staff including front office, maintenance, security, are so nice and helpful. Had a problem with the shower and called the front desk & maintenance was there within minutes to fix the problem. The location of the condo was close to the pool & was nice to sit on the balcony with your morning coffee. The only negative report is that it does need some updating...stained carpeting & missing vertical blinds in master bedroom & both bedrooms need better mattresses.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Came down with our two grandsons. We love The Palm Bay Club, location, pools and beach. The grounds were beautiful as always. The master bedroom needs a new mattress very uncomfortable. There were stains on the carpet as well and sliding glass door was very hard to open and close. With that being said it was fine for what we were looking for, just not up to what we have come to expect from the location. Would we come back yes we would I am sure after the hurricane that nothing is going to be perfect. The front office, security and grounds cleaning staff were great. The kitchen had everything you would need and couches were comfortable.

Condo was nice King bed not the best had plenty of towels and space the kitchen had everything we neededhad a leak in the master bathroom ceiling woke up to water all over the floor and almost fell waking in not sure where all the water was coming from would not stay again during spring break condos below us were very noisy until 1:00 am and you could hear everything in the main bedroomoverall great location to the pool short walk to the beach and felt safe due to the security driving around the condos Cons would be no restaurants close by you either have to have your own vehicle or take the trolley or the green bus plan on waiting in lines in the evening and when they stop hope they had room for you to get on

Cute condo could use a bit of an update

Check in process was easy but don’t think you’re getting in much earlier than the 4pm check in time. The condo was ready but front desk won’t let anyone check in early. Property does have a working elevator which is great to bring up suitcases or groceries. Condo is cute. Entry tile has some cracks. Master bedroom needs new carpet or just replace all flooring with LVP. The closet door completely off track but closet space is nice and roomy. Master bath has a pedestal sink which is horrible as there is no place to put things. There’s shelving above toilet but was filled with towels. Furniture is dated and has chunks out of it. Just needs replaced. The second bath is nice and has a large vanity with decent counter space. Condo states can have up to 6 people, we only had 3 but the water heater is only good for two people. The rest will have a cold shower. Why not change out a small water heater with an on demand one?!? Kitchen faucet has to be set just right otherwise the faucet leaks. Master bed mattress needs replaced, has the infamous dip where it’s been slept on. Patio door gets off track easily. Nice outdoor furniture. Bay side pool and hot tub were our favorites. Nice access to the beach with a quick walk. Also trolly stop not far from condo. Overall a nice stay. Condo just needs updated and switch out the water heater so everyone can have a warm shower.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were with a group of families, we had 6 condos. We enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint was the grills. They need to be upgraded to gas grills. The laundy facilities were terrible, the dryers did not dry. There needs to be washers and dryers in each condo. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Great Place to Stay

We had a great time at The Palm Bay Club. We were located on the Bay side that had a heated pool/spa with a small fishing pier. The only request would be is to add ceiling fans to the bedrooms. Other than that we had a great time. Thanks Again

Winter get away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the property is very nice. We stayed on the Bayside with close access to the pool and hot tub which were excellent. The beach, of course is outstanding. The staff was very attentive and responsive to rectify any problems. The unit size was adequate , but requires significant upgrades, and perhaps overall remodeling. The mattresses were dismal. The kitchen supplies were minimal to the point that cooking a decent meal was out of the question.

Spring Break 2023

We had a wonderful stay! The room was great! Plenty of towels! Everything was clean! Very happy! Would love the option of a mattress topper. Bed was too firm for my taste, but overall we would recommend to our friends!

Avoid this unit

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 5th year at Palm Bay and this was the worst unit we've had. It needs a major overhaul. The tile is cracked and broken; old, stained carpet; the guest room bed is shot; no ice maker or cube trays; most furniture is old; leak from bathroom upstairs into master bath ceiling. We like Palm Bay and the staff there but this particular unit is very disappointing.

6/10/22 Good place to visit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Palm Bay Club U-334 located on the 2nd level of 3 story building on bay view right side. All balconies face each other and that takes away a bit of privacy. There is no screens on the balcony, just the sliding door. Elevator is located in the middle section of the building and there are luggage carts available, but there are stairs closer to each end of the building. Check in/out is easy and staff is friendly. 2 bd gets 3 keys, laundry cards and bracelets. Keys are RFID and you have to turn them to lock. Pool on the bay was great, a minute walk, 2 grills (need reservation to use), deck area, fishing pier. Hot tub with nice hot water and jet sits 10-15 people. Beach is located across the street (so is the office and another pool) and is short 5-7 min walk. The unit is older but is nice. Could use some furniture updates. Kitchen had everything we needed. Had to figure out push-knob light switches 🙄. Sheets and towels were better than some resorts have. On 1-10 scale it's a solid 7 IMHO

The balcony made morning coffee twice as nice!! We will be back for sure!!!

Shower valve in 2nd BR had to be replaced and the sliding glass door in living room was off the track. Carpet in 2nd BR stained and looks terrible. Maintenace did a good job repairing all. Need a way to control how long people can reserve chairs & lounges at the pool. People put towels on chairs & lounges and never show up for hours. One day 3 people had 4 lounges and 4 chairs with a towel on ever one of them. No other people showed up. There were no other chairs to be had. How about putting up some signs up stating chairs and lounges and only be saved for 30 minutes. If no one shows up they must be released for other people to use. BE CONSIDERATE! 2nd year the hot tub has not worked correctly. Water only flows out of 1/3 of the jets. One jet is so hard you can't sit in front of it. It pushes you off of the ledge.

Just ‘ok’

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the stay wasn’t terrible although the unit was a definite disappointment. We arrived 90 mins prior to our check in time and were not allowed to enter the room even a minute prior to 4:00. They said our room wasn’t ready but we parked outside the unit and waited in the car and no one came in or out so I’m not sure why we couldn’t have gone in. The property is in need of maintenance and updates, both in general and the unit itself. It wasn’t necessarily dirty, but it was extremely shabby and run down. Peeling wallpaper, old furniture and mattresses, dirty curtains, and shabby bedding. Whatever the used to clean the tile made a slippery film and I almost fell upon entering the unit and had to avoid walking in certain areas due to the floor being so slick. The worst part was the mosquitoes. I’m a native Floridian and no stranger to our mosquito friends down here, but there were mosquitos inside the unit constantly. My children and I were eaten alive. There had to have been a hole somewhere in a screen or window or something but we searched and never could find it. So bring your mosquito net. Also, if you have kids you might want to rethink this complex...we were woken several times each night by other guests running and yelling and shouting obscenities down the hallways and stairwells. We didn’t use much else in the condo besides bed and bathroom...it was too off putting and we tried to spend as little time as possible there. Thankfully our friends were staying in a great house on Lido so we could hang out there. In short, don’t stay here.
